Robbie isn’t a great artist but he was a breath of Twink air in the comic business when all we had were “old” ugly men :D

 
Well this was FUN

Enjoyed the big bad boss battle in particular, and (nearly) everybody taking a turn to get their licks

Who would have guessed rubbish old Jubilee seemingly getting the best hits in
 
What an episode. Lots of camp moments. Magneto yelling "Magneto lives!!!1!", Bastion slapping Nathan with his own arm, Queen Sinister losing all his Botox and crying "Show me my face!", Morph catfishing Wolverine. Can't cope.

Also love the ending. Great set up for Season 2.
 
I have to say this series has been the best Rogue has been in YEARS (in the books)

Are they revealing Apocalypse TOO SOON? Shouldn't he be a series finale kinda boss? They better not be ending on TWO SEASONS!
 
They are wrapping up production on season 3 so we at least get 2 more seasons
 
I do wonder if maybe they threw out so much because there was no guarantee this was going to be a hit so they just shoved as much in as they could in the first 2 years.

I was never fond of the Askani stuff. It was an interesting concept but got pretty overblown in the books and was a well they drank from a few too many times. I hope they do it better in this show.
 
The Avengers were basically unreadable garbage until they killed off a ton of them and made Scarlet Witch crazy in 2004. That’s when they were finally able to compete with the X books again

Am I tripping or are we getting Wanda and Pietro in X-Men'97 S2?

In Magneto's dream you could see their shadows in the boat along with Rogue and SOMEBODY ELSE I couldn't make out and in Forge's/Bishop's scene you can see Wanda's picture with a note saying she's just "missing" but not presumed dead :disco:
 
Speaking of her, I’m really shocked of all the New Mutants available we got Sunspot. I figured she would be a shoe in for this era.
