Maybe you only saw them once, maybe you've seen them hundreds of time. Doesn't matter. Post your top 10 live acts of all time and feel free to cite the gig/show/tour you went to see to justify.
 
Just off the top of my head. It's subject to change, but:

1. Madonna
2. Alison Moyet
3. Fleetwood Mac
4. Elton John
5. Adele
6. Belinda Carlisle
7. Pet Shop Boys
8. Jimmy Somerville
9. Marc Almond
10. The Cure
 
I’ll have a think. I tend to have enjoyed a straight up gig rather than show/production on the whole more.
 
From reviewing my setlist.fm logs. Based on overall brilliance and also just plain having a great time at their shows. Have seen all of these at least twice:

  1. Prince
  2. Chic
  3. Lionel Richie
  4. Barenaked Ladies
  5. Kylie Minogue
  6. The Jacksons
  7. Roachford
  8. Billy Idol
  9. The Answer
  10. Lenny Kravitz

Unfortunately only saw MJ on the rubbish HIStory tour so he can’t count for that reason.
 
Oh I forgot Lisa Stansfield. Maybe slip her in between Adele and Belinda Carlisle.

OMG Chic are brilliant live. I've seen Lenny Kravitz too and he is amazing - It was in Hyde Park and he sang "I want to fly away" just as a plane was appearing from the back of his head. That was a moment!
 
Unfortunately I saw Prince during his squiggle phase, and it was a load of self indulgent nonsense I resented paying for.

Yes, I remember you saying once. The very first time I saw him was quite like that too, but from
personal experience, in the last 10 years of his life he was something truly special. Wish I’d been old enough to see him in the 80s.

My cousin says the same and she’s very jealous of the two gigs I saw. I hear those late 90s gigs were brutal
 
I’ll give a special mention to Maxwell, Angie Stone, Jessie Ware and Alicia Keys who are all great live, play the hits and interact well with the audience but haven’t really delivered the magic that happens with my top ten

Not sure about a top10 but here's my top3

1. Dolores O'Riordan (Are you listening /Melina Mercouri Open Air Theater/2007)
2. Kylie Minogue (X/Terravibe/2008)
3. Nouvelle Vague (Technopolis/2013)
 
Saw Kylie in about 2007, it was rubbish, but it was just before she was diagnosed. So I'll give her a free pass. I'd also just seen Madonna in the same venue just a month before doing the Confessions Tour which was absolutely RIDICULOUS so I think I compared the two.
 
Bands that have been amazing every time I’ve seen them are Suede, Skunk Anansie and Siouxsie & the Banshees. I only saw John Grant tour the second album but he was fabulous (lots of first album material too).

From the banshees contingent PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, Aimee Mann, Heather Nova and Nerina Pallot always show up.

Roisin Murphy (Overpowered era) and Beverley Knight (I know) really brought it when I saw them. As a side note Foxes is always worth seeing if you have the chance.

From the big budget productions Pink and Gloria Estefan really entertained me.

Must have been 2005 for Kylie then. Madonna makes my personal bottom 5 to be honest from the Re-Invention tour, but I didn’t see Confessions for that reason.
