Rupaul’s Drag Race UK (BBC3)

My bestest friend, who's a comedy writer, interviewed this week to be the writer for the UK version of Drag Race, having been recommended to the producers. She's 100 per cent certain she won't get it as she probably doesn't have enough experience to be the sole writer (she thinks she'd have the gig if it were a team, but they're just looking for one writer!) but how an amazing if she gets it. Moopy could help with the script :D

Would she be the sole writer?
 
I thought it while I was typing it but I couldn't think of a better way of putting it. I just really hope she gets to be the sole writer along with Rupaul.
 
For some reason I never expected that Ru would actually be one of the judges.

The UK is surely too big of a market for her not to bother.

I guess presenter is all that’s left, right?
 
Would there be a presenter beyond Ru? I think they'll keep the format as close to the US version as they can!

Graham was great when he guest judged before, so that's a great choice.

Finally they will have guest judges that Moopy recognizes.
 
more snatch game (see what i did there?) than guest judge material i'd imagine.
 
I thought Cherly was announced some weeks back, or was that just speculation?

That may be so, but surely it's one of those shows where even if you don't watch it, you know many of the main cast members by osmosis!

She's not familiar. I don't really pay any attention to it.
