I am still intending on voting Lib Dem but she really does not make it easy.

How is this LYING FUCKING CUNT the most popular politician in the country?

Fuck him and his pig eyes.

If the BBC news feed is anything to go by, it sounds like this is going to be the highlight of the election with the leaders actually being grilled on good interrogating questions from the audience live on national television.

People on twitter saying it’s a car crash and a “turning point”.

Is that just my left wing echo chamber or was he that bad?

He wasn't THAT bad against an audience who were far more hostile to him than any of the others

DAMN

I should have known better than to trust the unbiased opinion of Diane Abbott.

Corbyn I thought did relatively well despite some very difficult questions.
Surgeon just did as per.
Swinson got an utterly muted response.
Johnson was a fucking mess. Hostile audience. Normal flubbering.

I know I'm biased but i fail see how he came out of that anyway but shit. Sadly of course it means utterly nothing. It was a very vocal remain audience.

What do you mean as per? Is that good or bad?

I mean she did as per normal. Came across as the most honest and sincere.

me after jo swinson is pelted with yet another utterly savage question by that audience :D :

I haven’t laughed so much in AGES.

I only watched Jeremy Corbyn and Nicola Sturgeon. Is it still looking like a whitewash for the Tories, or is it more likely that Labour would be able to form a coalition of sorts with SNP?

Sturgeon really does come across exceptionally well. She seems by far the best speaker and most intelligent of all.

I've seen polls with the Tories creeping up to 50% with Labour lingering in early 30s. Thank God Christmas is coming to soften the blow of December 13th.

It is so frustrating. Other than the anti Semitism row getting thrown in his face I am reading everywhere that Corbyn is losing more votes as he won’t take a clear stance on Brexit. He has said HUNDREDS of times that he would make a deal with the EU and then do another public vote where the British public can vote on the deal whilst knowing the exact deal that’s on the table, or giving the public the choice to stay in the EU. Its crystal clear to me.

Ruth Davidson not being Conservative leader in Scotland will hopefully hinder their ever increasing grasp on Scotland. I can’t foresee anything other than SNP gaining here.

Yes I think the tories losing Ruth is going to hopefully mean a few swings to left.

Have you seen some of the data behind these polls? Based on mad shit like 95% of over 65s turning out to vote?

Regardless, the current poll of polls gives the Tories an 80 seat majority. The suicide of the Brexit party has worked as predicted. People need to stop kidding themselves.

The polls are about as factual as a Dail Mail headline.

The polls are disinformation - they're trying to dispirit people into not voting, into thinking it's all over. If you take away all that weighting and assumption, it is nowhere near over. Don't let the cunts fool you. They're doing this because they're scared.

How do we get here? I mean, I know the system is flawed, absolutely, and parties can read things how they like, but if the polls were a load of bollocks, SOMEHOW why is it only Labour who isn't able to skew the results their way?!

IT"S ALL A CONSPIRACY!

Look, I don't disagree that there's some SHADY SHIT out there, and I don't know enough about how things work to really grasp it, but EVERY SINGLE FUCKING POLL OPERATOR has Boris miles ahead. I know we all want to cling to some hope, but are they ALL just complete Tory charlatans? REALLY?

I mean, even The Guardian/ Observer polls give Boris a 13 point lead!

Yes.

There's no doubt that The Brexit Party buckling has changed the game; the Tories effectively have no-one splitting their vote and that has been a massive boost and Farage will probably go into the Lords in January or somesuch because he fell on his sword like a good little boy.

But we are absolutely being a fed a narrative and one that makes no sense. The Tories are having a shitter of a campaign and yet we're expected to believe that they're becoming more and more popular by the day? Boris is getting booed everywhere he goes! They've had to hide Jacob Rees-Mogg in a cupboard! We have a near endless supply of footage where they lie through their teeth, refuse to answer basic questions and generally show themselves as disgusting humans and we're being told that the country is going "absolutely - this level of unprincipled incompetence is exactly what we want"?

We've got the BBC subsequently editing footage of live events to make Boris look better as well. Is that normal?

Now that's an entirely different point. The media bias is outrageous and the BBC is a fucking disgrace.

My friend told me yesterday how her mother, sister and brother in law have switched from Labour to Conservative because they just want Brexit done with. And they live in Rees-Moggland.

And as for this, I think it's twofold. I can't believe people fall for Tory shite, mainly because my social media echo chamber is full of lefties and my friendship circle is the same. The strength of feeling against Corbyn, whether or not it is fuelled by "fake news" and the media bias (which I believe it is, wholeheartedly), is absolutely fucking massive.

Ignoring the polls, or claiming they are just biased and part of some big conspiracy is just BOLLOCKS.

This is the ultimate in stupidity. The Withdrawal Bill doesn't "Get Brexit Done" - it's the beginning of decades of economic isolation. The Tories called the referendum, fucked about and in-fought for 3 and a half years and have the blind cheek to make "Get Brexit Done" their slogan? And people are falling for it. I could weep.
