I've been and it was quite shit if not quite as shit as I expected. I've been hanging around town looking in the shops since 2 waiting to get word that MADAM has left as WE ARE NOT ON DRINKING TERMS but none as yet so I'm going home.
Sometimes you see stalls around city centres where they'll do it for a charity donation.
I've cut back on the present buying this year. Nothing for my brother or sister, or the nieces and nephews over 18 (so four out of seven).
Although, when I've got Mr L about NINETY presents (stocking fillers excluded), this is all pretty much MOOT when it comes to wrapping.
Do the nieces/ nephews know this? They're not expecting anything?
We don't buy each other xmas presents. It saves SO much faff.
I mentioned it to a few of them about a month ago. I'm assuming word will spread, or my mum will pass it on.
