Of course, when the battery dies is a completely different matter.
 
Am I correct in saying that SSE probably don’t give a damn about us as we are not in a populated area? :angry:

It’s horrid outside, isn’t it? I’m just on the way home from the gym. I had planned to go for a run to start my half marathon training but that doesn’t seem like the wisest of ideas.

I hope my little flat survives the storms.
 
It’s ever so windy here. I was going to the gym but it’s too horrible so I’ve just eaten bread lots.

2 hours is a long time to go without power. Have they got an ETA for when it will be back on?

It should be sorted by 8pm apparently. I live around 2 miles outside of the town and my daughter has informed me that her friends who were without power are back on. :oi:
 
Back up with enough time to make dinner and settle down to watch Love Island
 
Don’t need to worry about dinner as we got a delivery due to unforeseen circumstances but YES if it is not back on for Love Island time I will be FURIOUS.

Yes. I’ve just started as a content manager for HSBC. My job will involve leading content marketing campaigns for Malta, Greece and Armenia. :disco:

Also it turns out being hung over on your first day is fine. Nobody expects anything of you anyway.

We've had the barest sniff of a breeze with storm Binnie or whatever, we never get anything in the south east. I mean I don't want full on destruction but a bit of something would be nice once in awhile.

Glad that you're still breathing VoR. It was slightly rude but we all make mistakes.
 
I drove home in a spectacular storm tonight. Going down the dual-carriageway and could barely see the car in front because the rain was so heavy and every few minutes there was amazing forked lightning. I loved it.

I went on a three day bender before a new job once. But that was a long long time ago.
