Quite possibly, but it still suggests no one really cares about peas when the likes of frozen cauliflower are STRIPPED BARE.

I love a pea personally, but then I'm quite partial to all of them. Frozen chopped peppers are a revelation price wise

Bother. Well I'll discuss it with the parents, just can't help thinking even if they're like "don't be daft" if I did carry the thing and pass it on and something happened to one or both I'd struggle to forgive myself. Option 2 of just being like "yeah I'm out of holidays but I'm not coming into work sorry" and potentially losing my job also has long term ramifications

Got a few grand of savings. Doubtful enough to buy but should imagine enough to rent

Plan C: Beg a few friends to stay with them (and pay share of costs) til it all blows over

Of course a house share would be quicker, but I'd anticipate few on offer at the moment. By contrast little competition.
 
People in Spain must not leave the house unless they have a hospital appointment or have an important errand to run or they get fined.
 
Notably my local (and rather excellent) greengrocer was fully stocked today and no busier than usual. if the mad shopping rush means I can't get baked beans and flour I'm sure I can happily live off fresh veg.

Dare I say it, but looking at the trolley piles yesterday, I'm not sure the panic buyers know what a vegetable is anyway.
 


Hopefully if he is lying about the result he will also refuse any treatment.
 
Think he'd already tested negative by the time they announced he was being tested.

Can't imagine they'd tell us without knowing already.
 
Was at a party, we were around 15, and while no one is worried about getting infected, it was grim seeking how about 5-6 friends either have already been told they’ll lose their jobs or they worry that it will happen.
 
I'm still struggling a bit to work out whether I should be a good citizen and not leave the house for anything social from now on, or try to keep on as normal and enjoy things while I still can.

Partly depends on where you live. But for now I'm going about my life as entirely normal. We'll probably all get quarantined eventually so might as well make the most of the freedom.

I have made it home to Scotland. This is supposed to be a 30th birthday trip but I’m going to be in the house for most of it, I think.
Birthday dinner is probably fucked, and i’ve contacted the venue to postpone the party I was supposed to have next weekend.

I have had a tight chest, a bit of a sore throat and have felt tired all day. Although i’m worried about my parents, they are pretty robust for their age and if I am going to be sick, I would absolutely rather be here with two former nurses and people to bring me food to my sickchamber than in a flatshare with three flatmates who all have underlying health issues. I’ve been keeping my distance and washing my hands a lot and will prob stay holed up in my room tomorrow just to see how things progress. I might just be a bit wrecked after a ghastly week, to be honest.
 
I don’t care for the comparisons to the Blitz, at least in the Blitz you could still go to the PUB.
 
Is the idea that we keep our economy chugging along whilst the EU shuts down so we have the upper hand in the BREXIT NEGOTIATIONS?
 
Yes that's why we can't DELAY the EPIDEMIC for a while by social distancing for everyone while we look for treatments or a vaccine or prepare the health system. We might all be DEAD but we'll be SOVRIN again!
 
I was just in my local outlet of a Well Known Supermarket that rhymes with "Kesco". The guy was telling me that two women got into a proper fight over the last bottle of Carex (other brands are available), a classic "I saw it first - yeah well I beat you to it anyway, quickness of the hand etc etc". The manager came along to break it up, asked to see the bottle - and walked off with it saying "that'll do me and wife". :D

Fucking muggles snaffling all the oat/soya/almond milk as well. bastards, go back to your cow juice.
 
Maybe it’s just me, but I just can’t comprehend everything closing down here. I’m sure Italy, Spain and France were the exact same a week ago.
 
I am between slightly worried and absolutely terrified. I would say I am immediately concerned and DON’T LIKE SURPRISES.
