That’s because each bundestat has their own rules, I think I read that Bavaira was in lockdown.

Because people don't want to be kept in and it isn't actually a major problem for people who are healthy. I spoke to my staff this morning and they point blank want to come in, except one who lives with elderly parents, and who I've let work from home.

But they can infect others that aren't that healthy, which is a big problem if everybody is sick at the same time. The virus will affect some of those healthy ones too, like is happening here, where hospitals are full.
 
Two of my friends are out of work now, they have been let go as their companies have closed (temporarily for now, but I'd say they will stay closed for a few months at least).

Agree. We're a Solicitor's firm. I have the luxury of not having to go in because my Dad and my staff take care of the day to day things, but unfortunately, immigrants continue to be detained and deported. We can't close until the Home Office does. And we don't have the infrastructure to let people work from home. What are we supposed to do with our case files and supporting documents etc?!

I'm not disagreeing with you, but people are following government advice. If they don't feel they HAVE to self-isolate, why would they?

Missed that- well done Mrs Ag.

I've got my horrid lump being removed tomorrow and not heard anything otherwise, so thankfully that will be GONE. Now to deal with it being cancerous :D

Things like this is what is going to cause massive issues in a few weeks time. You only have to look at Italy, Spain and France. We are behind them by a week or so and we should be taking action now. Not before it’s too late when you HAVE to self isolate.

I've seen a few posts doing the round from epidemiologists and the like saying the point at which you do the lock down is critical, like a get out of jail free card, and apparently we're just not there yet.
 
We were supposed to take both sets of parents out next weekend, and have a party with our mates, and we've cancelled both.

I liked that competition where we decided what people had to sing. Was that moop factor?

I remember giving @cwej 'Here Comes The Rain Again', and it being really rather good indeed.
 
I don't feel like singing (I really can't sing for my life), but that A Song For Moopy could be done again.
 
I quite like the idea of a lockdown scavenger hunt. Maybe a list of items that most people might have at home with the winner being the one who posts pictures of the most in a couple of hours.
 
Moop Factor was the one Dinlo did where we got theme weeks and had judges and everyone got to vote. A Song for Moopy was fun too.

Maybe a poetry slam where we all write something and submit it by video.
 
Are we going in to LOCKDOWN? I’m sure I just heard he said to steer clear of pubs/restaurants etc even if we have no symptoms?
