Germany seems pretty chill.
I really do not understand why ALL companies are not bringing in a WFH policy unless you cannot work from home.
But they can infect others that aren't that healthy, which is a big problem if everybody is sick at the same time. The virus will affect some of those healthy ones too, like is happening here, where hospitals are full.Because people don't want to be kept in and it isn't actually a major problem for people who are healthy.
That’s because each bundestat has their own rules, I think I read that Bavaira was in lockdown.
Not everyone has the infrastructure. My company can currently sustain about 20% of the workforce working from home, and they're keeping it open for emergencies.
So in the office I go.
And Sweden.
And to be honest, right now I feel it’s the better option maybe.

Agree. We're a Solicitor's firm. I have the luxury of not having to go in because my Dad and my staff take care of the day to day things, but unfortunately, immigrants continue to be detained and deported. We can't close until the Home Office does. And we don't have the infrastructure to let people work from home. What are we supposed to do with our case files and supporting documents etc?!
Also, agree with @Suedey

My mother has had her operation and is now in recovery![]()
I've just developed a tickly cough. Hmmm![]()
SOMEONE BAN HER
I totally understand that.I'm not disagreeing with you, but people are following government advice. If they don't feel they HAVE to self-isolate, why would they?

Because people don't want to be kept in and it isn't actually a major problem for people who are healthy. I spoke to my staff this morning and they point blank want to come in, except one who lives with elderly parents, and who I've let work from home.

Things like this is what is going to cause massive issues in a few weeks time. You only have to look at Italy, Spain and France. We are behind them by a week or so and we should be taking action now. Not before it’s too late when you HAVE to self isolate.
Talk to Boris, not me
I've said Mafia will happen, if and when the UK goes into lockdown. Or fuck it, maybe next weekendI am hoping for Mafia, Word Game, and lots more games to mess my head up even more when we go in to lockdown.![]()
