My daughter went out for a driving lesson today, but got picked up. Tomorrow she was going to get a bus through to Stirling for her lesson as that is where she is sitting her driving test. Is that unnecessary travel? I’m probably better taking her and picking her up?

I just checked my office internet which was updated just before 5pm saying everyone is back in the office tomorrow. Minutes after this BJ says people should work from home wherever possible. Thank fuck I am off for another 2 weeks.

i love how it's the first days/week of lockdown for most of us and everyone is losing their mind [liza].

I doubt car travel is banned. My parents have been chatting about driving to the seaside, with a picnic, sit in their car and watch the sea.

Well I've cancelled my FONDUE. Supposed to be at a TV recording on Thursday and a pub thing on Friday though.

Can somebody please point me in the direction of the official thing about flu jab isolation? I can't find it anywhere.
That was the advice in the press conference. He defined those who had underlying health conditions as those who had the flu jab.

Some kid at Ron Jr's school is in isolation. Should have kept him with the forest dwelling hippies.

Bye moopy. Its been emosh.

I have to go to the dentist in 2 weeks but I don't know if that will be possible then. Ugh.

The pubs and clubs advice is classic Boris. Because the government are stopping short of ordering a shutdown, the onus is on the venues to decide whether to continue trading. Ergo, they're fucked either way because the government doesn't have any liability to bail them out or pay insurance.

Lots of furious pub landlords, pub/restaurant food & drink suppliers, etc on Twitter. Apparently if the lockdown was mandated they would be able to claim insurance for lost earnings, but because it's only advised, they can't.

Same with theatres and venues... No official order to close theatres, just a suggestion that people don't go.

Now the onus is on theatres to refund people, but insurance won't cover it, so a lot of people are probably going to lose their jobs.

Classic Tory shitfuckery.

Then they should just open. Not my Prime Minister. Fuck it gonna open my own fully unlicensed pub.

In other news I decided to heed @lolly's advice and nip to the barbers today before things got too crazy, only for the guy to accidentally nick my septum while trimming my beard and spend a full 5 minutes with one of his grimy fingers jammed up my nostril trying to stem the bloodflow.

So yeah, it's been nice knowing you all.

The fact he has now said that people should not go to these establishments means that the majority of people will avoid so takings are going to be well down.

Make sure to open the next Moopyvision round before you die. x

So I've sent my staff home now, and working remotely begins tomorrow. I'm going to go in the office myself in the morning to make sure everything is working ok, then from Wednesday I'm at home. I still have to have this lump removed from my foot tomorrow and I'm PRAYING it doesn't get cancelled.

I don't know what to do about me. I'm technically asthmatic, but I always felt that might have been misdiagnosed and just be a symptom of my acid reflux stuff. I therefore get a free flu jab every year, but don't always have it (I haven't this year, for example). I'm PRESUMING I don't bother with the 12 weeks isolation thing, but I don't REALLY know.

I’m sorry you’re a goner but this made me laugh so you can go knowing you’ve done some good.

Cunt of a government have just “advised” people to stay away instead of issuing a lockdown, meaning the new announcement of the closure of theatres is their own choice and now they’re not insured for all the refunds they need to give.
