Moopyvision 2010-2019 Round 14: Croatia, Romania & Switzerland

Is it acceptable to only give each entry 30 seconds?
 
I'm letting most of them play out. But I'd be lying if I said some of them aren't getting a boot around the 60 - 90 second mark.
 
I don’t think (in the two I’ve done so far) I’ve listened to any of the songs, I’ve chucked points at my favourite and least favourites and given middling scores to the ones I can’t remember.

I'm listening to them now. I'm not going to be done by noon, but then the results weren't going to be at noon even under the original schedule.

No @Rachey just makes them listen to the entries of Switzerland on repeat, and they all eventually topped themselves.

Fucking hell Switzerland. You know a country's bad when even your 10 pointer is something you'd never put on out of choice and, crucially, every male fronted song is better than the females. Literally EVERY ONE and that never happens. Even a cracked-voice pair of tits on stage over a tuneless disco beat, aka Daria, would be better than this shit!

I was looking forward to these results and now I feel personally betrayed by everyone.
 
If he gets enough votes today he might do them. It would be nice to get this back on a (sort of) schedule so we can focus on semis.

What countries are left? Hungary I think?

I asked yesterday if we were having results today, given the precedents. He refused to answer, I didn't bother voting. :)

Just vote now. It took me about an hour and I can't say I skipped any to a huge degree. Well maybe a bit but I heard what was necessary. Which wasn't a lot for 85% of this

Wasn't Croatia''s Lighthouse at one point a big favourite to WIN? Seems ridiculous with THAT performance being part of the package. Just voting NOW!

Lighthouse is really good (ON RECORD) but in retrospect it's totally one of those that reads as absolute filler in the wider scheme of a contest, particularly one like 2016.
 
Serious question @VoR - is anything going to happen with this tonight - if not I;m going to chuck up a spontaneous sync-listen...
 
I wouldn't bank on it, no.

My plan is to make these more manageable for myself by doing one country per night (usually takes approx. 2 hours) but there's still a fair few regulars who haven't voted so if I do one tonight it won't be until 9-10ish anyway.

So I'd say go ahead with your sync listen.
 
RIGHT. I'm going to blast through one of these before Eurovision Again, with a view to doing the other two sometime tomorrow.

As I'm still waiting for Croatia votes from @Dark Carnival and Romania from @Penelope, I guess you LUCKY LOT are getting Switzerland tonight.

OH THE SUSPENSE!
