ZU HAUSE SELBST BACKEN!
:disco::disco:

I have - of course - eaten these and they were kind of alright in an odd way but I was in the grip of an amour fou at the time so even dog biscuits would have been a delight and treasure

What FILLING did you have or was it RATHER DRY

I also watch everything! Well, not everything, as some things I buy and I don't need them now or don't go in the fridge I just leave them in quarantine in a spare room.

I haven't had a croissant in 8 weeks :(:(
I made them once these weeks, but it's such a hard work and it takes so much time that I can't be arsed and I go with cookies or sponge cake.

French croissants have FILLINGS bien sûr!

The best croissant aux amandes I had in my life was in a St Barts CONVENIENCE STORE of all places :disco:

I had it hammered into me at a young age that a certain amount of germs and nasties are actually necessary, so I've really just breezed through this period not even thinking about giving my ready-meal-for-one a scrub before I bung it in the microwave.

Everyone else is out here developing a COMPLEX and I'd still follow the five second rule. I'm surprised to have made it this far.

Honestly I’m the same to the point I put my son in a puddle of mud in place of a school for a few years. A bit of dirt is good for you.

Croissants don’t need a FILLING. How terribly common! @Dark Carnival can you have a word please
My housemate is highly stressed and overworked these days and sometimes just takes 10 minutes for an overdue lunch. Her go-to is a croissant filled with scrambled egg and avocado. A bit of a LIBERTY and not TRÈS FRANÇAIS but I think I probably WOULD

I must say I'm really a big fan of peanut butter (crunchy, naturellement) spread on a croissant and popped under the grill until it's all a bit of a MELTY CRUNCHEST :disco: feels a bit debauched but anything to piss off the French

Some local LOON clapped near me (on their own) until EIGHT THIRTY PM tonight. Naturally I called the police :disco:

GIVE THEM MONEY, you can’t pay for your weekly shop in CLAPS!
Whilst initial a nice gesture, I now find it so empty and patronising.

Oh let's not START the croissant argument. Fuck having it with jam and butter, I usually do not have any filling and I just dunk mine in my coffee. A few of my colleagues were AGHAST when I did this! :D

I am so trying that the next time I have a croissant

Same. When I was a young un (2-3) I had a weird thing where I would look for/eat chewing gum from the ground :D!!

Covid 19 wont touch me!

I actually think croissants are quite shit unless there's cheese in them.

The chewing gum thing has made me want to gip a little bit. I once some gum that my friend had already started chewing when I was pilled up, and the thought of that makes me queasy now...
