Alla, you probably aren't aware of a maxim of BRITISH CUISINE: why just taste one simple yet intense flavour when I could LATHER EVERYTHING UP IN FAT.

I grew up (am growing up?) in the middle of nowhere and we don’t even have roads so no pavement chewing gum for me :(

We’ve started getting WEEKLY DELIVERIES from a local bakery which has some rather delicious CHEESE & ONION pasties and JAM TARTS.

Oh let's not START the croissant argument. Fuck having it with jam and butter, I usually do not have any filling and I just dunk mine in my coffee. A few of my colleagues were AGHAST when I did this! :D
Oh MY you are Mr Kate’s actual soulmate. His favourite thing is a croissant dipped in the foam on a cappuccino.

hey croissant people: get a(nother) room.
Millions of people are dying every minute and this lot see fit to do a pastry rate.

Anyway, people have stopped giving a shit about social distancing, our cunt Prime Minister blurted out a vague, on-the-spot lie that lockdown will be eased as of Monday, and the papers have latched on to it in what has been a fucking conga line of irresponsibility.

These are the same papers who prattle on about the Blitz spirit and the indomitable will of the British people, yet seem to think we can't manage six weeks without Wetherspoons.

We must be due another Priti Patel car crash press conference - they've wheeled her out about once a fortnight, haven't they? That could brighten up Saturday.

(in other news - "croissant" comes from the French word meaning "a fucking mess")

British exceptionalism. America suffers from it too. Hence the death rates.

And when did a little extra butter ever hurt anything?

I mean they probably are more TASTY in FRENCHLAND but I couldn’t imagine eating a BARE croissant here, SO DRY.
