You are allowed to kick him, you know Floppet
I might finally make that victoria sponge I've been talking about for the past two weeks...
That sounds so buffI am making a Goan Pork curry today. The marinade is done and the meat is in the fridge.
I haven't been up very long.I haven't eaten cake mixture for a good few years. Now THIS is an idea.I don't make Victoria Sponge any more, the mixture never reaches the cake tins anyway. It always starts with just one dip of the finger to make sure it tastes right, seconds later I'm eating it with a tablespoon then spend the rest of the day feeling sick.
If anyone deserves an M&S steak tonight it's you two. We're recovering from a traumatic weekend.
However we have steaks and all the sides for dinner this evening. Mr Ag has been out with me to M&S, so he's being resilient at least.
. Perfect for Portishead this evening...
I might actually join in on the Portishead listen tonight. Something a bit different, innit?I felt utterly exhausted yesterday afternoon/evening. Probaby the main reason why I opted out of Eurovision on moopy yesterday. The joy of those threads (how frenetic they are) is also the worst thing, if you're not feeling up to it.
Not sure why I felt so tired, as I slept reasonably well, and did nothing all day other than walk to the post office and back, a spot of very light gardening, and make a paella.
Now I feel QUITE PERKY though. Perfect for Portishead this evening...

I really didn't give my all to Eurovision last night. Are we stopping them after the season is over?
I think we SHOULD.

I think we SHOULD.
I'd certainly be in favour of keeping them no more than a monthly event.
Such a good analogy!I think so too - the whole principle was "no Eurovision, what are we going to do instead" - carrying on doing that thing into June is a bit like refusing to take your Christmas decorations down.

I have been GASPING for some 1970s
