I was reading a photojournalism type piece the other day about the decline of service stations from the glory days of fine dining to being rife with GAYS. I cant imagine getting sucked off in a Welcome Break tbh

I honestly don’t know. I feel like a bit of an IMPOSTER as I am not from here, and don’t intend to stick around for the long term. If the referendum had came round say 10-15 years ago when I had long term plans in Scotland I would have voted yes, but if I am still living here by the time the inevitable next referendum comes around WHO KNOWS?
 
I vaguely remember something last time about having to have an address in Scotland but I don't remember if it had to be your only address.

Consider vitamin D supplements, for one thing!

But first go there and verify what he's saying against his citations for yourself. Don't just randomly believe stuff you hear on the internet because someone said "this guy's linked to some papers and sounds smart", that isn't enough nowadays.
Taking a supplement (not exceeding any max doses on the label) can't do any harm but there's so much bollocks out there and if came from anyone else I'd be thinking "right okay someone else with a pet theory about a magic pill". It's nice to see someone providing citations for their claims so we can actually cross check them and his channel is quite refreshing, lots of analysis with no bias, not trying to scare you OR trying to claim everything's fine, just the facts.

They’ve started testing on a bigger scale than before, therefore more cases detected.
 
Only 36 deaths today, although there’s a slightly ominous looking flick upwards on the graph of daily new cases...

We have had nothing here for WEEKS apparently. Not even a case in hospital right now.
 
Do we think that we are going to get a second wave in the UK now? I am thinking no, and the majority of people have not been sticking by rules since the Cummings debacle if not long before.

I think it's more likely than not, especially in England. Once we get to the other side of summer, if there are still cases kicking about and the cold weather both helps the virus and drives people indoors, cases will skyrocket again.

Oh I’m fairly sure of a second wave at this point. The decline in new cases has stalled, although that’s pretty much completely due to England I’d have thought.
 
Honestly who knows, I think it depends if we've got accidental herd immunity through a combination of it possibly having been around before we knew about it (maybe as early as December), being slow to lock down, quick to re-open, and how many infections are asymptomatic (could be like 80%).

It's rather worrying as I have severe doubts whether most businesses can survive a second wave.

In a way I’d rather get it over with now than it rearing its ugly head again in November.

I think the research about a month ago suggested less than 10% of Londoners have antibodies, and that was one of the most highly infected areas. I don't think we're close to herd immunity.

Meanwhile, my Norwegian pal can already go to Denmark, Germany and Iceland (but NOT Sweden) if she wants to.
