I thought “oh I got Shea’s runway” but actually it was only the Carrie that I noticed, she had explained the back story before I had a chance to see it.

I realised Raja already did Carrie didn’t she?

Up until now I've been pleased that Shea hasn't been steam-rolling the competition like she was expected to, as I wanted an open field. But that lipsync to Open Your Heart single-handedly won the season. They just can't give the win to anyone else after that performance.
 
Who knew AllStars 5 would end with India being the 3rd most memorable contestant from it, after the Juju/Shea top two.

After that little performance, "you are, and forever will be, an AllStar". :disco:
 
I meant to say, I agree with you VoR in terms of it being almost identical to what she did with So Emotional

well.. the editing served us crickets yes. I couldn’t even finish watching at that point, the editing was driving me up the wall. The producers obviously don’t want any of us to have opinions of our own. EVERYTHING Alexis said was accompanied by howling from Ru and EVERYTHING the other two said was accompanied by a ‘clunking’ sound effect. Why can’t they let us think for ourselves?

Thank God for Jujubee’s performance As Eartha Kitt. Perfection.

Pretty much over this series. I really hope Shea doesn’t win actually - I think Jujubee has consistently entertained me a lot more.

It was ridiculous. I'd love to see some raw footage from a Snatch Game some time.
 
I have never had to stop an episode of Ru Paul halfway out of irritation before. The second half of the episode was better, but it certainly didn’t feel like the classic some of you are saying.

The India-Alexis drama was... ok. But felt obvious India was going to go still.

Jujubee is just the saving grace of the season by a mile.
 
As much as I love Shea, I was hoping for Detox AS2 levels of runway. And Love The Skin You're In aside, she isn't bringing it.
 
I love that Detox's AS2 runways get the reverence they deserve on here. I thought that they had been overlooked at the time, with all the (deserved) adoration having been thrown towards Alaska and Katya.
 
For a season that arguably has the weakest cast of all All Stars, it's certainly doing better than AS4 and potentially even AS3

Alexis Mateo was simply made for TV.
 
She's proved to be strong enough to wipe out her petty All Stars 1 outing, but she's still a lovely 2nd runner up.
 
The double crowning aside, it was a great cast and had lots of iconic moments.

I don’t think she’s a lipsync assassin just because she survived so many, that was narratively convenient (poor Shuga).

It was like she was lip syncing for her life rather than her legacy. Nice of her to pay tribute to the Snatch Game episode by coming as that “catch me outside” girl again

The fact she had that video produced (presumably at some cost) and ready to go makes me think she's been anticipating a negative reaction to her Snatch Game ever since the episode was filmed. Given that it was just a bit of a damp squib rather than a disaster, I'm now wondering if there was some REAL lead balloon stuff in there and she actually got a pretty kind edit :eyes:
 
It IS Cracker, though. She'd obsess over it being awful if it wasn't great.

overestimated the impact? It’s all some of you have been able to talk about! (For the fifth week running)

did I miss something really evil she did, because people are going out of their way to get her this season

I guess that’s fans/the internet/Moopy/gays for you
 
It’s the claims that she’s some sort of comedy genius that baffle me
