I think we can expect at least half of the AS6 lineup to be comprised of S12 queens. They’re very well regarded and never really got a fair crack of the whip career-wise, or a proper finale etc etc

I expect Asia will do the next All Stars, Kameron is another from season 10. Plastique and Akeria from season 11. Hopefully no Silly ever again.

From AS1, Shannel and Yara Sofia were both meant/asked to be on AS5 - Shannel said no (I think she said she isn't interested in competing any more) and Yara pulled out last minute as she said she didn't have enough time to prepare for the competition. This is probably how we got India cast as a last-minute replacement and why some of India's runway looks have only vaguely fit the theme (cough prom)

I'm glad we did get India though, she's been good value for cannon fodder. It's good to see Alexis without Yara for a season too. This is the first season I've LIKED Alexis and appreciated her drag. I found her a full-on irritant before.

I can definitely see them bringing back Ginger Minj, Tatiana and Coco Montrese from AS2 at some point and frankly, WHY NOT!

I don't think there is one per se, she's just been a bit outspoken about the raw deal she got on AS1 being paired with Mimi and is a bit miffed to not get asked back yet like Manila, Latrice etc. when they did her way more dirty.

Can't say I'm that fussed to have her back. I liked her way back in S2 but there's been much much funny/quirky queens since then.

No. Season 2 is exactly what an All Stars should look like.

Then you wait 5 years before you do the next one - so that when an All Stars happens it’s a massive event with queens that only made it to top 5 and were genuinely beloved.

This is my feeling too. If AS1 came after season 4 then AS2 should’ve been after 8, then we should only just be getting AS3 now after 12.

But given their approach is to run the well dry and pump things out fast and cheap, it’s no real surprise they don’t have the foresight/patience to not wreck their own franchise

I tried to pick 10 queens but it quickly got too crowded. Safe to say, there wouldn’t be any space left for Farah Moan, Mariah etc to fill.

If they did All Stars every 2 years instead of every year we'd have line ups like AS2 and AS4 every time, HOWEVER as VoR said above I've quite enjoyed getting to see Aja, Derrick, Morgan, India (and others I can't remember right now) again - and they arguably would have been skipped over on less frequent seasons.

If they ever film AS6, there's enough blockbuster queens from seasons 10-12 already to fill a line up without really dipping into ARCHIVE queens so I'm assuming it will be another jam-packed cast for an even-All Stars.

Or at least recycle those queens like Coco and Ginger who left All Stars early but who clearly have bags more potential than queens like Farrah Moan, India and Mariah.

We would never have got the whole India drama this week though if this was the case. Plenty of people deserve a second chance for numerous reasons.

I think they’re only doing All Stars every year at the moment because the show is at its peak but I think that will likely come down and they’ll probably do less of them as time goes on. It’s looking unlikely there will be a main season this year never mind an All Stars season though.

I think Mariah had great potential. Unfortunately the challenges really didn't play to her strengths.

The India stuff is only entertaining by the sub standards the show itself sets. It’s hardly the Alyssa face crack of the century mirror giggorama of AS2.

It amazes me how TV can’t grasp that a ‘pump it out whilst it’s hot, they’ll love any old shit’ mentality only leads to viewers going ‘this is a bit shit, I think I’ll watch something else’ and if they allowed an appetite for it to develop the peak would last a whole lot longer. It’s a typical case of rape the land and move on.
