I forgot how much I loved it until this thread. It’s as good as peak Janet and Jody. The video feels a bit KLo before KLo.This is amazing.

That’ll be Real Love. If you want a bite sized Jody playlist also try Don’t You Want Me, Friends, Looking For A New Love, Most Of All, Everything, Still A Thrill and Some Kind Of Lover.I have much to catch up on with Jody. I was sent a song she did with lots of vogueing in the video. It was like a Vogue that was giving credit to where it truly came from, I loved it whatever it was called.
Was Justified & Ancient recorded before wheeling in old Tammy? I included it in a playlist I made ahead of a 7 hour car trip driving from let's say Reading to where Susan Boyle lives and was gutted when I didn't get my fix of Wynette's rusty chipmunk twang.
Im sure there was a male vocal version before there was a Tammy version....?
There are a ton of different versions out there, the Tammy one doesn’t exist on Spotify. It was released under the name ‘Stand by the Jams’ as well, so if in doubt try searching up that. Was Justified & Ancient recorded before wheeling in old Tammy? About Gloworm? Yeah, gutted. The list of songs still in the running is RIDICULOUS, though. Any of them going out now could be considered too low.WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK!
You may say that. I may say "Agnes WHO?" and "Taylor Dayne UGH". For starters.About Gloworm? Yeah, gutted. The list of songs still in the running is RIDICULOUS, though. Any of them going out now could be considered too low.

Gloworm – Carry Me Home. 36 POINTS
Nominated by @ButterTart
1994, USA, No. 9 smash! Lord, oh lord. Here's another of my picks, and coincidentally a song which Chicane covered a few years back. Gloworm are singer Sedric Johnson and producer Will Mount, whose only other significant credit is a remix of Ian Wright's award-dodging debut single 'Do the Right Thing'. Gloworm only bothered the top 40 with one other song - no. 20 smash! 'I Lift My Cup'.
I really think I've said all I need to say about this one a thousand times over. It's glorious, and I'm honestly shocked that it took until the religious experience in 2015 for me to ever actually hear it.
Here they are on Top of the Tops, serenading the finalists of the Miss Generic Mid-90s pageant.
Fucking Hell, good memory. You have nine songs in the top 100, only one has fallen so far.I think I have 8 nominations and 25 songs that I voted for in the final still to come. Good.

I do love how we go from "it's easier to fly" straight to Melanie Thornton though. Ouch.
I didn't even realise!
If only I'd known soonerAnyone got another "ones we missed" playlist hanging about?![]()
