in other news found the most gorgeous bed and breakfast in Marseille for only 95 Euros a night, and I had enough air miles for a free flight. :disco:
 
I didn't get my BBQ but I'm so fucking EXHAUSTED that's not a bad thing. Instead, I've spent the evening sorting out the dregs of the massive pile of records I'm cleaning/ selling/ keeping and have whacked on Rod Stewart's Greatest Hits for a laugh :disco:
 
I was re reading PETER KAY DEAD (or just PALE?) earlier. I hope that Jill lady comes back when he actually dies.

I NEED to read the Help For Heroes thread tomorrow. I never knew that happened! I always thought we were the raiders not the raidees!

I was once a moderator of a Neighbours forum who had splintered off a much bigger much worse quality forum. There was a member there called Carly who worked on the show and was able to provide official spoilers every week. The threads were always just her posting the spoilers and everyone posting "Thanks Carly!" thereafter. So we went into every single thread just posting "Thanks Carly!" Also the admin was a woman called Sal and I signed up as BigFatSal which on reflection is quite unkind :(

2019 was a crazy year!
 
I used to be a member of a games forum then instigated a mini coup by making my own page on EZBOARD and convincing a load of the bigger posters to follow me over there :eyes: Thankfully all forums involved are long dead!

I sometimes miss the nonsense of the early internet when nobody seemed to know what they were doing.

Yeah but at the time it felt like full on WAR. Thank god I never told my grandparents what I was up to with that same gusto.
