Jessie Ware - What's Your Pleasure?

So from being her highest charting album, it has fallen to a lower position than any of its predecessors in its second week.
 
Guys it’s just not available in the shops

I’m sure when Our Price start stocking it again, it will shoot up the charts

I'm having that contradiction where I think Ooh La La is a 05 because I don't like it anywhere near as much as the other songs, and then I play it in isolation and realise it's still better than most of the pop out there today. So hence the loon rate.

The album is still actually growing on me, so I might rate it again soon.
 
How is this no longer top 100?! :D Wow... she has a massively loon fanbase it seems.
 
What did the 100th selling album last week even sell? :(
 
The lowest sale quoted by James Masterton was #62 (Tammy Wynette Gold) which sold 1,475.

Still, both Jess Glynne albums are in the chart, so at least the nation's favourite Jessica is still doing well.
 
I honestly cannot believe this is the same person that released GLASSHOUSE!

She seems to be having the time of her life, let's hope its a permanent change of lane :disco:

So now she's been posting right-wing Zionist accounts on her Instagram. What is it with these fabulous pop stars being sooo disappointing in their political views?
 
Looking a bit deeper into this it seems to have started when she reposted a meme about antisemitism on her story:

The image itself seems absolutely innocuous (at least to me), and I can see why she shared it. The issue some people have is that it's a repost from a group called Zioness, which appears to have funding from right-wing groups and is dedicated to pushing the message that anti-Zionism is antisemitism into progressive spaces:

There isn't any evidence that Jessie Ware has looked into any of this particularly deeply, and though a closer look shows Zioness to be an pretty dodgy organisation personally I think she was just sharing a meme that spoke to her as a Jewish woman. Or maybe I'm wrong and she's a rabid Likud stan, who knows?
 
This is all INCREDIBLY tepid to me :D

The idea that Jessie Ware is pushing some sort of political agenda via sharing an Instagram story talking about her new video on her account...? A REACH!
 
I agree! As it currently stands it feels like people seeing a pattern when they're looking at a LINE.
 
The tweet in HLT's post has literally had about 6 replies and a quick Twitter search for "Jessie Ware" is just people talking about how great she is or the new video, so I wouldn't even say the "JeSsIe WaRe iS a ZiOnIsT" motion is too much to get worked up over.
