Sunday had a few drinks last night and just wants you to TALK QUIETLY

I’ve made it home, but that car journey was touch and go for a while. Thank god I didn’t have to drive.

Holy shit! :D

Currently in a CBD cafe with mother having a coffee. I may have forgotten to mention to her that she's got a shot in her cappuccino.

I feel FINE, might get back on the wine

My friend who vommed over himself in the pub last night is probably not quite so chipper though. Honestly, these out of practice lightweights! Not like us SENSIBLE people who have drunk at home every day since March

Asda delivery turned up without bags. I'd paid 40p for bags. So I asked the (15 year old) delivery driver whether my 40p bag charge would be refunded. He said not automatically but he'd find an item that was worth about 50p and refund that item. I offered him a packet of Supernoodles that were 50p but he chose the melon that was £1.79, saying he'd just put it down as damaged and nobody would ever know. I should have tried for the £9 washing liquid! :D

Just finished watching Katherine Ryan's "The Duchess" on Netflix. If you don't like Katherine Ryan, you might still enjoy it because her character is Not Very Nice. If you do like KR, you'll love it because the character is, of course, a nasty version of herself.

I was considering whether to watch it as I don't believe Katherine Ryan has even an ounce of talent in her whole body but was going to give it a try. You've just convinced me not to watch it. :D

Have you seen Frankie Boyle's New Wurrrrold Order is back? With no studio audience but still class.

Ooh lovely ! There's some pretty little walks you can do there along the canal, woods and lake
We’ve been for a walk and a picnic along the canal, stopping off at the Waterside pub on the way back!

I'm very much in, but am waiting for when I can binge it in one or two sessions.

Ah the one near Monton? Never been in.
Am enjoying beers in the garden and enjoying the last bit of sunshine before it disappears :(

Oh I quite enjoyed episode 1 but just made me think a little of the much better, Motherland

Yes, it;s been amazing. Ryan's not doing it any more but Sara Pascoe is still there, Miles Jupp seems to be turning up here and there and it looks like they have Sophie Duker every week. Hurrah!

I;m sure there's logic in there somewhere but I;m buggered if I can find it... :D

Oh god the cute 17 year old drug dealer I found keeps calling me, what does she want?

It falls a little flat, but it's a strong line up. The most recent episode was so poking the gammons. I loved it.

All comedies have struggled in a certain way without an audience - the new series of The News Quiz now has a Zoom audience so the participants get an audience reaction and it has improved things massively. I did see The Blame Game doing the same thing but for a TV show it just didn't come off in the way that it did on radio.
