I have a very long-standing relationship with the Moopy Moderation Elections. I believe I am the only poster to have stood in all 17 elections, trying a different tact in each election - from comedy to heartfelt to threatening behaviour - what a ride it was to exercise my democratic freedom. And with equal consistency, every election there would be some three paragraph heartfelt speech from a poster explaining why I shouldn’t be allowed in and how they would leave if I won.

But then one day that all changed. A broken clock is only broken if it’s the wrong time, and this was my time. With one of the lowest polling percentages ever, it happened. I was handed the keys to the city; I had arrived at the gumdrop house on lollipop lane.

But then the nightmare began. Innocent quips about former X Factor contestants turned into media frenzies. Jovial editing to raise forum spirits turned into accusations of sociopathy. My drinking soon spiralled out of control and I would physically shake with anxiety everytime it came to logging on. My former second-best friend @VoR stopped returning my calls and @Rachey showed me that my love and friendship were useless by trying to run me over with her car.

Through healing and passive-aggressive song selections in the Moopy Song Competitions, I can finally say that I am now on the mend. To those of you that reach for this chalice, beware of its poison.
