There's one under a canal bridge in Poplar or some other shit hole, near @SDF's new bin.

Oh I love Poplar for a GRIM DAY OUT :disco:

Clintons in Westfield managed to do well as it was by lots of offices and they along with WH Smith and M&S Foodhall opened an hour earlier compared to all of the other shops, so office workers having to quickly get a card for a colleague in the morning had no other choice, or be late for work.

Are Clinton’s actually in trouble?

I can imagine the news “Clinton’s to close 6000 branches, 5% of their total”

I remember at one point in the MK shopping centre there were at least three!

Didn't you hear? I guess you've been out of the country for a while.

Milton Keynes has gone into administration and got bulldozed.

I hate the way Clintons just invents new cards to guilt gullible people into buying and sending them.

"You're a terrible child if you don't send this 'Happy Valentine's day to my grandma's pet chinchilla' card".

They need to add BECAUSE IT MIGHT DIE THE NEXT DAY because that’s exactly what happened to me. I spent the money on crisps instead, only to discover that the poor mite had accidentally ended up in the oven with the croquettes the very next day :(

It's a vaguely french sandwich shop I believe only found in TRAIN STATIONS. I've only ever visited when boarding a train hungover and in desperate need for a JAMBON et FROMAGE.

I nipped to an Upper Crust in the train station yesterday and the food offerings looked GRIM to say the least.

I think I‘d rather go to Upper Crust than DELICE DE FRANCE despite the truly terrible name

Actually those shit frozen coffee drinks in chain coffee shops are like CRACK to me in summer, it must be all the sugar and CHEMICALS but they really provide a BUZZ like no other. I'm obviously ashamed to be seen drinking one in public so will often indulge DOWN AN ALLEY.

I think we'd all rightly agree that nothing beats a GREGGS.

Apart from a delicious poppy seed baguette off PAUL that is

Anyway, I‘ll have one of those please Françoise and a sausage, bean and cheese melt on the side please luv :disco:

Greggs is dreadful. We have better local chains around here.

So much so that in our small suburban high street, there used to be four bakeries next door to each other, and the competition forced Gregg's to close. FUCK YOU GREGGS
