Morning!

Just gone past our old Fopp. Still empty, shop sign still up. It's like I'm being taunted every time I go past it.
)Also good morning! Working from home again, and just waiting for our team meeting to start. I want to go out for a little walk later, but the ice doesn't seem to be shifting here (and yesterday I nearly slipped multiple times despite wearing my Yaktrax)
Was that one the original branch, @octophone? I never knew if it was that one or the city centre which came first.
These things, you put them on your shoes and they (normallyYaktrax?
Is this a Bugsnax thing?

Sort of. It was originally A1 Sounds and they were in DeCourcey's Arcade just behind Byres Road and also in The Savoy Centre. They moved out of DeCourcey's and into the Byres Road store in, I think '89.
The bit that gets written out of their history is a wee store they had on Renfield Street as A1 Sounds from the mid 80's until it closed in early '92. I think the Byres Road store was the first "Fopp" store but they rebranded the Renfield Street shop not long afterwards.
AGH I thought of Didi Eggs but didn’t say it.Good morning

Fucking hell, Ron Jr's school are trying to carry on teaching as normal via Teams. It's chaos. We had no idea it was from 9am today, so he missed the first lesson - the timetable is the same as a school day, and they're essentially expecting us to be TAs to make it work. He has an iPad for interacting AND Ms Ron's laptop for working, so she can't use that now and has had to go in, leaving me to run a company and monitor/help him. They sent us stuff to print off to work with, just this afternoon requires 30 sheets of A4, most of which are full colour.
I have full respect for and solidarity with teachers right now, but this is unsustainable. We're frazzled and its day 1.

I'm seriously going to look into reducing my hours and dropping a(nother) day.
I used Squarespace for my portfolio hun. It's quite good and somewhat intuitive but you do have to pay to get your website online once it's built. I would recommend though, what's it for?Has anybody made a website before using those template things like wix or squarespace? I'm techno-challenged and wanted to talk it out with somebody. Miss @Jark, does thou havest any experience?
I've used both, and Squarespace is easier to use by farHas anybody made a website before using those template things like wix or squarespace? I'm techno-challenged and wanted to talk it out with somebody. Miss @Jark, does thou havest any experience?

If you listen to literally any podcast, you can get a promo code for squarespace
If you got a code, lil' sis, I'd happily take it. :emoji_kissing_heart:
It's a very good podcast that looks at interesting internet stories. Their Q-Anon episodes are especially good.
