Saturday finds a mouse in the house

Good morning! Up for work feeling a bit rough, but I’ll be ok. So nice to see everyone last night. These Virtual Moopmeets are developing a life of their own and are proving to be a valuable lifeline for me and, I suspect, others too.

It’s chucking down here. Though I managed a rather lovely night’s sleep which I desperately needed, so it’s not too bad.

I'm so grateful that so many Moopers are alcoholics, so that I can still join in the fun, even at 2am

MY HEAD HURTS. It’s Mum’s birthday and I’m cooking so I need to drag myself into town and back before ASFM, plus there’s still 6 inch of snow on the ground.

I can’t remember much but can remember having a dream of the next election with Keir Starmer becoming PM in a hung parliament :D:disco:

I've been told I was very loud

I barely remember talking much

Me neighbour sneezes at exactly the same time every morning. Its odd.
My first thought is that they've been murdered and the killer made a recording to go off every day so that you don't get suspicious and phone the police before the body's had time to putrefy and destroy the physical evidence.

It could also be that they're slightly allergic to their pet, but that's a little too prosaic for my tastes.

Sitting in the same spot drinking isn't good, I didn't realise just how drunk I was until I tried to creep quietly up the stairs and had to ricochet between the walls on either side to keep myself in a straight line. I'm only drinking this vile cup of tea so there's something to come back up.

The first theory stacks up, I havent seen her for weeks

I'm still slightly concerned that our neighbour who fled overnight last year murdered his girlfriend and disposed of her body via the drains somehow.

To be honest I just miss him mainly because he used to go jogging in ludicrously skimpy shorts and had an arse you could crack walnuts in.

No sign of the mouse this morning, and not in the cereal either. @Floppet has me checking the cupboards though
This is basically me but with spiders. Mice are cute and harmless except for possibly carrying Lyme Disease so I don't mind having them knocking about the house. Even the possibility of a spider has me checking every possible nook, fully aware that all I'd do if I found it would be scream and run.

Wasps for me. I can't cope with them.
