Saturday finds a mouse in the house

Slept too long - woken at 7:30 by the bin lorry (at that time on a Saturday? Who have we annoyed?), checked my phone, turned over and went back to sleep until well after midday. Now listening to a David Bowie live album that arrived yesterday.

Just cleaning the cupboard under the stairs and we've found 12 bottles of prosecco and loads of other alcohol, been untouched for a few years :shy:

I still don't feel any better. Is this how hangovers affect old people?

I assumed it'd be like the olden days when I'd spend all morning spewing but once I managed to eat something and keep it down I'd be fine but apparently the goalposts have moved.

Get a curer down ya, Floppet!

That's why I was on the sherry. Barely touches me. If I had the equivalent in anything else I'd feel like utter shit now.

I hope you don't mean more alcohol Rita because I can assure you even considering drinking is turning my stomach right now. Besides I've run out of pop so the only alcohol in the cupboard that doesn't need a mixer is Sleipnir's mead and just the thought of the smell of it makes me gag.

Imagine this!

The Prosecco will likely have gone off. Dare you to open one tonight to try. My Mum a few years ago told me there was loads of champagne in the cellar they’d received as gifts and never used as neither her or my Dad liked it. Every single one of the 10 or so bottles all gone off. I was so upset.

I am kind of doing dry January but kind of fancy a nice bottle of FIZZ now

I did wonder if it might have gone funny. I shall report back!

It goes quite dark and treacly. I actually don’t know about Prosecco but as champagne does, I presume it’s the same. Still, depends on how long “years” is. Give it a bash!

Smoke weed

I’ve been out for a big ride and now I’m sat nicely stoned on the sofa feeling content as fuck.

I've had a bath, found and spruced up a track I made ages ago (I could not have told you a fecking thing about it) and now I'm deciding whether to watch the Sleaford Mods livestream or the Wedding Present livestream. A gig clash in the virtual realm. Fuxache.

Mr Ag has just come home with trash hangover food.

I'm in love all over again.

Will it help? I still have half left from last night, had to dock it otherwise I'd have been talking to God on the big white telephone.

3 ibros, a can of pop and some weed cures every hangover
