I'm feeling positive.

I think everyone is feeling something like that if it helps babe. Can’t get over this feeling of numbness and general malaise. Wish it would fuck off.
Now I just need a way to go walking without leaving the house.
What's funny?
I'm a keen pacer when I'm on the phone, like Bradford and Bingley. We go for refreshing turns around the kitchen like Caroline Bingley in Pride and Prejudice
Our senior manager is a bit like that. Doesn't understand at all why we're all (broadly) enjoying working from home. But to his credit when he was meeting with the higher ups he has been making the case to keep home working on our behalf. We’re having a team meeting with a senior manager. She talked to us about how hard it is to work from home, and about how much we must all be looking forward to getting back to the office.
Naturally, everyone piped up to say how great working from home is and how hope we get to do it forever.

This is always a bold move, I considered doing it myself this morning![]()

She really is lovely, but so corporate she could almost qualify for a disability badge. She talks about her back to back meetings and missed lunch breaks like they’re exhilarating and we all want that same feeling. Our senior manager is a bit like that. Involved in the office book club and everything. Is the person who got the job you went for more of a bootlicker? Wouldn't be the first time.

I'm towards the middle. The endless WFH is doing my tits in, especially as I don't have a dedicated study at the moment, but long term I only want to be in the office one or two days a week. Just enough to remind me that I hate all my colleagues and appreciate being away from them.Am I the only one who fucking hates working from home? The lack of in-person interaction makes work so much harder for me? Obviously COVID safety makes things different, but in normal circumstances working from home just sounds so unappealing
