My favorite type is cheddar cheese because it's so rich.

Also, does anybody hate cheese? And why?

My body has rejected cheese since I was a baby.

I can safely eat a couple of Ritz crackers with a smearing of garlic & herb Philadelphia Light but I'm not sure that would count as cheese.

When I was in Turkey a few years ago I had a goat's cheese stuffed burger, it was heaven on a plate and I'd walk back there for one.


Melted Welsh rarebit and halloumi.

For me, and I know cheese snobs may sneer, but it’s hard to beat a good cheddar as long as it’s mature or stronger.

I love manchego, feta and that Mexicana hybrid too. Halloumi and paneer are great for use in meals.

Cheddar remains the golden standard for me. It's the cheese by which I judge all others, because it has all the classic features of what cheese should taste like.

I have never heard of Comte!?

Halloumi or a Wensleydale and cranberry for me. I’m obviously no connoisseur.

Mozzarella but not particularly on its own
