LAST DAY OF THE WEEK YO. LET'S GET IT GOING. YOU GOT THIS! BREATHE!

JUST TAKE A MOMENT TO BE THANKFUL FOR ALL THE THINGS YOU TAKE FOR GRANTED. FOR AIR. FEEL YOUR BODY. YES. STRETCH OUT THAT CORE.

JUST 5 MORE SECONDS. WOW! THIS BURNS AM I RIGHT?

hello :) I've done a nice Florence by Mills purple glittercum face mask while working out and now I'm gagging for my healthy breakfast combo of yoghurt/coffee/cig!

I'm in the office today for the first time in four months. It's literally a one off and I'm not likely to be going in again since my new role is home based, but I'm still morally outraged.

"Hey, I’ve been diagnosed with an anal gonococcal infection"

Ahhh those sweet love messages you receive first thing in the morning :emoji_heart_eyes:

I’m in work to start a shift on this new role thing that involves some work being sent to us, it hasn’t come through yet :disco:

MAMA-MAMACITA, TELL ME WHAT TO DO?!
LOLA-LOLA-LOCA, IM IN LOVE WITH YOU

Moopy I need advice.

Mandy and I are looking at opening a small shop. But then we change our mind. We've been uhming and ahhing over this for months.

We finally have the money and a potential shop.

Pros of the shop:
Being our own boss
Picking and choosing when we work
Potentially making a lot of money

Cons:
To start with until established, working long hours, up to 7 days a week
Not being able to have weekends away and as many holidays
Stressing about how much money we need to make.

Or do we stick in our current jobs which are secure, I only work 3 days a week, although I do hate my job half the time, and spend the money on holidays?

If it went tits up how easy would it be for you to get jobs again?
For me, not an issue at all. I can work for minimum wage as my outgoings are tiny. It's Mandy that's the worry, she's in a very well paid job but has high outgoings.

The other option is she stays in her job, I work in the shop and we employ someone.

yeah this doesn't seem like much of a dilemma! especially if you semi hate your current job and think the shop could make you good money.

employing one staff member sounds like a good compromise as long as it doesn't become only your project!

The problem is I know I've got it good at my job. I'm a senior member of staff so I get listened to, generally get my own way, work the hours I want. But it's just so shit there at the moment.

Go for it NOW as surely the IOW will get an ONSLAUGHT of tourists this summer, strike whilst the iron’s hot!!!

This is potentially costing us £40k...which we lose if it all goes wrong :wired:

This is exactly what we are thinking!! But the people who own the business (it's a franchise) are being quite awkward. We can't go any further until they agree to the location but they can't come visit because of lockdown.
