Mr Ag just got his booked. By mid August our household will be fully vaccinated.

Obviously Kit Kat is immune by virtue of being fabulous.

I filled this in and got told they would need to pass it onto a “specialist team” which I think largely has to do with my old GP unregistering me so I don’t really exist anywhere as far as they’re concerned :( I’ve tried to register at a new GP but they’ve not even acknowledge receipt of my documents so I doubt that’s going to go anywhere 🙄

Still waiting for the “specialist team” to come back to me too.

So I’m actually getting somewhere on the NHS website as the error code has changed and takes me a bit further until saying no again.

I called 119 again to query and she still said it’s good sign and that something is updating on my record so it may be available to me soon. What was most surprising was the operator said she’d taken over 100 calls so far that day and only actually managed to book 2 appointments for anyone due to no slots being available in certain areas. Which in that case I wonder why they are opening up the ages so quickly at the moment when the appointments aren’t available?

I just lied to the system and said I was a health-care worker and managed to book in for a vaccine at a local pharmacy for 12th June. I hope they don't turn me away as the warnings suggest in the confirmation email, but I presume all the healthcare workers should have been done by now. Either way, phew.

The availability of appointments was very sparse and I just had to go with the ONE that was available for both, compared to my flatmate in her late-40s who seemed to have hundreds available at the time.

Apparently the other good one to click is to say you're a carer. No one can prove otherwise, and you're not cheating the system as your age group has genuinely been called

I can only assume popping 2 ibuprofen 2 hours before getting your jag is fine? I have caffeine withdrawal headache. Just got a workout in in case my arm is sore later (I hope it's my right arm if so :eyes:)

I did the same and it was fine. They don't care WHO they jab.

I had to rebook as the appointment clashed with an interview next week, although managed to get in for Thursday this week, and I get my final vaccine 2 weeks earlier now.

England: There are reports on Twitter that some 30 and 31 year olds are now able to book via NHS website.

I’ve not received my vaccination invite yet. :argh:

They’re still working through the over 40s in my area despite under 30s now being offered the vaccine nationally.

For reasons I can't fathom my second jab is this SUNDAY. It's such a SATURDAY thing to do.

My second jab is the day before my birthday. Fun.

Got a text this morning too from my surgery asking to book with them, so I rang and they said I couldn't book with them because they're only doing the AstraZeneca vaccine and I'm under 35. :goodgrief:

Where is that photo of you lying in bed dead-eyed.:disco:

Mr. Frozen is getting Pfizer next Monday. Still no sign of the portal opening up for my age bracket.

I got the text from my GP on Monday evening to book Jab2 so immediately went onto the booking system only to discover that the only appointments available are at a place in the heart of Indian-variant territory which is way across the other side of town. I have checked every hour from 7am to 8pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and today and no more appointments have been released at any of the seven listed places who say "no appointments" and are all within a fifteen minute walk from my house. Ideally some will become available at my GP as they are only 100 yards from my house so I'm going to keep checking. My 12 week anniversary is 5th June.
