I used to wash my hair every other day and it got to the point where it was chip-pan greasy again by the next morning so lockdown was a good excuse to train it to be washed less often, it wouldn't have been something I could've done if I was at work without wearing a headscarf to cover the greasy mess of day 3 unwashed hair. It still looks OK after four days now.

I did the same training over lockdown too and have managed to reduce the amount I wash my hair!

I prefer to shower before bed, it's like washing the day away and going to sleep fresh.

I'm a fan of night time baths, primarily also so I don't have to get up any earlier than absolutely necessary.

My ex used to be a showering at night person, and that was a bit of revelation for me, it makes total sense when you think about it, but the fact is I can't be ARSED. So it's the mornings, because I need about 4 different things to wake me up anyway.

The only times I won't shower is if I'm having a lazy day in. And alternatively I'll shower twice if I'm going out that night. Not sure if it's just a ritual but I would feel proper weird heading out for a night out having only showered that morning. Don't know why. Hair, teeth, everything. Just a personal thing.

At least twice a day (depending when I’m working out). I could never go to work or seeing people without taking a shower, and I trim my hair every morning.

Shower in the morning and shower before bedtime. I think showers are one of the great luxuries of humankind.

I only shampoo my hair twice a week though. I used to obsessively wash it everyday because of chlorine, but like Star during the pandemic I've weaved myself out of that routine and my hair is so much healthier for it.

Oh I have to every morning, I wouldn’t leave the house having not had a good rinse. I don’t bother after gym on a night time (as it’s only me in my bed so don’t really care), but if I gym on an afternoon or am headed for a night out I’ll have a second one in the arvo or early evening to get fresh :disco:

I would feel gross not showering in the morning. Night time can be lovely too, but optional. Always after exercise though as I think it's soothing for the muscles, as would a bath be (bed time idea sounds like a good one), but I would rinse myself off with the shower as my ultra rare baths have to be deep and hot. I'll also add that I love soaking my feet in cold water when it's too hot :)

Once every morning, usually after gym/home workouts, and obviously twice if I’m going out anywhere NICE.

My gym sesh is in the evening, which is why I usually shower at night. Plus I hate going to bed with a whole day’s ickyness anyway.

Mornings, mostly. Sometimes before bed if its hot. Used to love a cool shower in the evening when I lived in Spain. Bit pointless in Manchester.

I haven't used shampoo for years really either, its really bad for your hair. I rarely use any sort of soap on my face. Just a bit of shower gel for my bits and pits.

They say it’s bad if the hair follicles are always wet, which they would be if you wash your hair several times a day.

But it’s bad for your skin if you shower often too. My skin gets dry and I easily get a rash nowadays, especially in winter because of excessive washing, but what do you do if you work out and sweat easily?

Minimum once per day - at the moment usually in the evening after I worked out / before I go to bed. Also because the last few weeks haven't been especially hot, so no sweaty action going on at night ( :( ) But I've never had an issue with dry skin or so from showing once or twice a day.

Hair Washing is a much bigger challenge, fully echoing what @Floppet said - I never hair any issues with shorter hair but now that I have long hair and it needs different maintenance, I've noticed how sensitive my scalp is to a) going over or under the right frequency of washing and b) having the right shampoo and conditioner. I've been at my parents' place for 5 days, forgot my usual products and noticed some irritation when I got back. So right now it's back to washing and conditioning every other day, so things fall into place again and staying away from my hair oil, which I usually quite like to use in the mornings.

plug up your sweat glands with botox

I'm staying in my sister's place atm and due to the heat and humidity (and to wash off that gross sunscreen in the evening) I shower twice, which is super annoying when you're expected to dry and clean the shower after you EVERY TIME

Do you not have a shower curtain?
