Tuesday books a fortnight in Jaywick

I just found a Jaywick Community Group on FB.

I feel like they've been stealing ideas from Madonna for their tempting pie and mash. I like the way it's SMEARED OVER THE PLATE and crisped beyond perfection.

If i order 2 pie and mash it's £6.50.

But if i order 1 pie and mash with one additional pie and one additional mash it's £7.00.

I am outraged.

Clearly the delicious liquor is worth more than 50p. LOOK AT IT!

I can't see any of your pics Lucille, but it might just be my work laptop blocking anything too titillating

To be fair I haven't found anything as awful as that shack @RJN posted last week. Riley Avenue is quite a treat though.

Our staff member tested positive for covid 8 days ago. She's due back at work Saturday. She feels absolutely fine. One of the other girls wants her to do a lateral before returning. Is it worth doing that or will it still potentially how her as positive anyway? The government website says to wait 90 days unless you start showing symptoms again.

Thank you. I'm having blood tests next week for it, I'm assuming that's fairly normal? I really don't like taking medication or pain relief etc, is there anything non medical I can do?
Blood tests is standard process for everything, my mom was prescribed cortisone when she had severe pains from it and it really worked. But she didn't want to take it for much so she stopped it. She is much better now anyways. Out of non medical things, I know this will sound ridiculous and nonscience and charlatanic but she has said that lying for half an hour under the sun every morning helped her. To be honest I think this was effect of auto-suggestion if that's the correct word to use. Good luck with the test and wishing you everything will be OK.

Chances are it will show a false positive. That’s why they say wait 90 days.

Apparently she could still test positive for at least a month, so there's really no point.

I like the useful sliding WALL between the lounge and sitting room.

Maybe we need to rebrand as a GAY CHAT SITTING ROOM.

Thank you! I'm going to try not to take any meds to be honest. I am taking glucosamine, tumeric and collagen supplements tho.

So I’ve got the date with the guy I shagged 10 years ago tomorrow, not sure why he’s texting CONSTANTLY when we’re meeting tomorrow ANYWAY.

That's exactly what I've said. But this other girl is refusing to work with her unless she gets a negative test, which she won't get for weeks!

Hmm we've never had any issues. But I still don't believe this person wasn't told the price as she was filling her bag..she must have known how heavy it was. Fudge weighs a lot!

oh absolutely!
Anyway what a rookie mistake - you learn early that you never put fudge or chocolate in a pic n mix, (special exception for jazzies which are really thin)

I recall him having no interest a DECADE ago so not sure he’s such a KEEN BEAN now.

THANK GOD FOR THIS :disco:

Just got this sizzling headline from that site. Thank GOD the beer delivery came before they started stamping their feet as well.

Weren't the forgotten people of Jaywick pretty much the mould for the intended target of the Brexit campaign?
