To be honest I was underwhelmed if anything by the figures quoted for Little Simz and Dave (to a lesser extent because he's better known already). The number of people listening last week must have been relatively so small that any uplift is bound to cause a HUGE % increase. As you say, Sheeran, Adele and Fender will benefit more in total, even if the % looks relatively modest.This is a bit misleading - the big uplifts from Little Simz and Dave are coming from small bases
Sheeran, Adele and Sam Fender are getting the biggest lift overall from The Brits.
It's a bit like when Music Week post stories about cassette sales increasing 200% year on year, when statistically they remain pretty much irrelevant.
Overnight viewing figures were significantly down on last year, so I guess the uplift will be less anyway
