Wednesday wakes up to the most brilliant news (if true!)

Good morning everyone! Are you ready for the cold snap? Let it be the last until the end of the year!

Aye, it's a bit chilly here too. I mean, in Scotland, we can still get snow at this time of year but even then, I hope it naffs off soon.

Meanwhile in Japan

Why do cats always choose to vomit in the most inconvenient of places. Our whole home is laminate/vinyl, yet heathcliff vomits on the one rug we have...three times :argh:
3 times today? Maybe he ate too much and can't digest it, or maybe he's long hair and swallowed too much hair cleaning himself? :cautious:
The paste for hairball usually helps them stop.

I'm considering whether I should take a gas and electricity meter reading tomorrow before the price rise, and actively claim i've used more than I have to get it on a cheaper price.

It's the perfect crime.

I think it is a fur ball. He's short haired but ridiculously thick fur and because he's indoors he moults loads. The fur loss at the moment is constant. But I panic when he's sick after he was hospitalized last year :(

How's your puppy getting on?

He's with my parents for the time being and has gained a lot of weight, he was 3 kilos when I left and now he's 7!
Oh they used an app to try and figure out what kind of breed mix he is and the app thinks he's a nova scotia duck tolling retriever, which he probably isn't but it does look like him and interestingly it's a breed that contains Collie in the mix and I remember you saying you can see it!

When the dog was little she always shat on the rug rather than the laminate. I always assumed it was because it was the most grass-like surface in the house.

I feel like they do it just to piss us off :D when I get a dog I'm removing all soft furnishings.

I just googled that breed, they're beautiful!

My mum's neighbours who have 4 German shepherds, are about to get a Caucasian shepherd, ridiculous dog to have in a house and garden that never gets walked.

They better have a humongous house and garden!
The garden is about 300ft, same as my mum's. It's a 4 bed house. But with 4 other large dogs, multiple children, a swimming pool etc, there's just not the space. They've never walked any of their dogs. They infuriate me.

We were told to do this in the shop :o

He's getting a roasting in the comments.

Just so you know, our office is talking about this now as well...right now, we think he's killed someone's gerbil and needs a short video to prove otherwise.

Interesting! Let me go check the comments again to see if there's an answer...

Today we have proposed to close the IKEA Tottenham store later this year. As a valued IKEA Family member (:)) with a connection to the London IKEA stores, we wanted you to be among the first to know. The proposal to close the store follows an extensive assessment of our presence in London. This, combined with the redevelopment of the area where the store is located, prompted us to assess the long-term viability of the site. The decision has not been taken lightly, however we believe it is the right thing to do for the future of IKEA in London.

SO UPSET WHAT A SHOCKER :shock::shock:

That IKEA is my first ever IKEA experience, where I thought I could choose and buy a desk in 10 minutes before we had to take the rented van back.

I failed.

I was going to say SURELY IT CAN'T HAVE BEEN THAT CHALLENGING but decision making has never been a forte at this end so yeah

Oh once I found the desks, I chose the one I wanted almost immediately. It was navigating the windy path round the shop floor, then finding the desk in the warehouse that took all the time. I wasn't prepared for the IKEA experience at all

Oh it's both horrific and dystopian. I always want to run home screaming about halfway round after thinking it was a fun idea to go there

HOW CAN THEY CLOSE IKEA TOTTENHAM?!? Is there anyone in East London who hasn’t been there AT LEAST ONCE?!?
