Saturday realises that one plus one does not always equal two!

Sorry but you lost me at

(NOT A SEX ONE BEFORE YOU START)

But also well done for sorting your back out. Next time get a stiffy and you never know you might sort something else out at the same time

Who here likes nutritional yeast?

I had to google what it was, the fact that you can substitute Asafoetida powder for it means it's probably a big no from me. I remember trekking round Asian/Indian food shops in Bolton trying to find Hing (Miss @Beverley told me what it was) when spawn needed it for curry when she was on a FODMAP diet many years ago. Now you can even buy it in supermarkets!

Do you like it?

That was the worst bit - you’re all just in a room full of tables like it’s TRIAGE or something. And the playlist is the ultimate club trax 2013

I love it! I find it a great substitute for parmesan and sprinkling it on pasta dishes. I also like to stir it in sauces.

It’s a great source of vitamin B12, so is a real boon for me.

Mixed with finely chopped cashew or peanuts I think it's nicer than parmesan in terms of flavour. Obviously you don't get the melting aspect, though.

I am currently eating this chocolate which is delicious

The wrapper says to share their story so here it is. I hope it makes you think twice about your chocolate choosing.

It was on offer through Getir. You can find a referral link with discount in the Community forum.

I got £40 of food shopping for just £5 today on Getir.

- I had a £10 off a £40 shop offer
- I then had a £25 cashback Getir shop to use for paying with my Revolut card

Just downloaded the app and had a look. Seems expensive to me.

But how does Getir work? Who do they source from?
They are just shops with no public entrance. I have one near me and walk past it frequently. I can see all the products on the shelves inside. The stock is picked off the shelves and delivered in around 10 minutes. It’s incredible! I only use it when I have vouchers/offers to use. The very first time I used it, I got £15 off a £16 shop. I was gobsmacked!

So the chocolonely bars were the nearly four quid bars after you've taken off the discount?

No, they were 94p discounted from £3.75.

It was just those dark chocolate bars though, none of the others.

You’re in a different area to me. What’s on offer there may differ. Have you checked the Special Offers section?

Nothing really tempting me other than some peach schnapps and half price Twix bars.

I don't know, it all feels strangely GRUBBY

Even Martin Lewis recommends making the most of the opening offers from places like Getir, Gorillas and GoPuff.
I understand why, if you have the discipline to use them wisely.

I just had a bath, have a face mask on and I'm lying on my couch gazing at my flat which looks pristine after finishing spring-cleaning today.

:wow: me

I got some of Tony's chocolate free with a Gousto box and it was very nice. Wonky slabs which make you eat it QUICKER though.

It's not vegan VEGAN though is it Nance?

The wonky sections did take some getting used to. But they have the perfect thickness of chocolate. Not so thick as a Yorkie but more satisfying than a Dairy Milk. And nicer chocolate.

I had one yesterday and wasn’t really bothered tbh

Are you insinuating that I’m a BAD VEGAN? :o

The dark chocolate one that I have is vegan.

If you charged the same as @Rachey, you could get enough for a deposit on a small flat for that.
If every single little cost in our shop hadn't gone up by so much you might be right.

Sadly it looks like we will be lucky to make any profit at all this year.

But maybe we should sell our fudge that takes 2 hours a batch to make and hours of wrapping to do, for £1 a box 🤷🏻‍♀️

What about if the rest of the year is as good as it was last year from here on in?
