Oooh a GENTLEMAN CALLER was it? What will the neighbours think?

Did I ever tell you about when I was the viewer of an apartment, I think I was the first tenant, but the estate agent was really late, and it was a cold December morning, I had to wait outside. When we finally went in, he took a piss in the toilet! Outrageous

In other news, I've spent all FUCKING morning trying to navigate setting up my new work email to work with Microsoft365 and Outlook. Which I have successfully managed. Only to find I've somehow stopped my general hello@ email address from working in the meantime.

You have to wonder how people actually manage all of this shit self- employed. I mean, I'm (relatively) switched on and whilst not TECH SAVVY, I am not a complete moron and I don't have a fucking CLUE what I've done :D

Have you got a new job? I thought you were joining the world of the terminally stressed?!

I am. I am trying to set up my own phone/ email/ BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Hence why I'm trying to MUDDLE THE FUCK THROUGH myself rather than having some paid IT geek assistance :D

Indeed, I was going to take the entire of June off but I got a HOT LEAD from a friend about a Danish sports tech company, a quick introduction later explaining what I was up to and they've asked for a meeting on Monday, using the words "this really sounds like stars have aligned here"! :disco:

I am SO BORED.

It's the start of people coming over to the island for the iow festival, meaning locals refuse to come through Newport and tourists get pissed off with the traffic so turn around, which in turn means Cowes is dead and we've had virtually no customers in the shop today.

There's only so much cleaning and ribbon cutting I can do.

I love it when buskers perform songs you'd never expect. Just wating for a bus and being treated to MJ's Human Nature and Let's Go All The Way by Sly Fox.

Both versions were very ropey, but rather that than a mediocre Sheeran or Ezra.

Oh God, the temperatures go up, men start wearing shorts, and I'm on the bus struggling to restrain myself from launching my carcass across the aisle and licking a man's thighs.

It's no wonder I'm always skint. Just picked up the dog's prescriptions at the vet, one written and one for the actual medication - £148.80. Came home and ordered the medication from the written prescription - £129.17. Over £275 for a month's-worth of painkillers and three months of ear-medicine that I have to pay vet price for because it has to be kept in the fridge and the online places stopped stocking it during the first lockdown. So he costs £172.77 a month just in medication! :o

If it's any use, when I think of all the cash Mr L spaffs up the wall on Abba shit, I console myself by thinking at least he's not spending it on rent boys.

Hope that helps x

It feels like it’s 38 degrees here. I’m going to die

London is going to be 34 on Friday. And anything above 30 in London is ABSOLUTE HELL.

:hostage:

I’m off to the countryside for a couple of days with work so should escape the worst of it I HOPE.

Is the tube air conditioned? Waiting for the Atlanta subway in the summer is actual hell

Down to 16° and showers on Sunday though. That's my kind of summer :disco:

I'll be schlepping my suitcase to London City and anticipate sweating profusely waiting for border control 🥰

I do love living by the sea. It’s a pleasant 25 on Friday.

And even then I’ll find it TOO HOT. I’ve got all the windows wide open in bed right now and it’s currently 16.
