The pocket square is a bit JAUNTY for mourning
I'd probably be wearing trackies and a hoody if my mum had just died. The pocket square is a bit JAUNTY for mourning
Is was a good speech. That made me very sad![]()
I thought so.Is was a good speech.
Is was a good speech.
And Kate Princess of Wales, a title only ever bestowed upon Diana (I think) but is him mentioning it enough to confirm it do we thin? Or does something more "official" need to happen. Charles III seemed to be confirmed yesterday as soon as it was mentioned, so maybe it's as simple as that.William is Prince of Wales.

I thought his tone was on point, especially as he looked like his about to cry.It was. Whoever wrote and typed it up for him done a spiffing job.
But has she been mentioned in a Lady Gaga song? That's the real honour. And Kate Princess of Wales, a title only ever bestowed upon Diana (I think) but is him mentioning it enough to confirm it do we thin? Sexx Dreams was specifically written for her, I'm sure of it.But has she been mentioned in a Lady Gaga song? That's the real honour.
There might be a ceremony. There was that weird one back in the 60s for Charli. And Kate Princess of Wales, a title only ever bestowed upon Diana (I think) but is him mentioning it enough to confirm it do we thin? Investitures are ceremonial. Him saying it was enough. And Kate Princess of Wales, a title only ever bestowed upon Diana (I think) but is him mentioning it enough to confirm it do we thin? Totally this. Yes some (maybe all) of the speech may have been written by someone else, but no one made him look so heartbroken. To me, it felt genuine and sincere.I thought his tone was on point, especially as he looked like his about to cry.

The wife of the Prince of Wales is automatically Princess of Wales, including Camilla. She just never used the title for, well, reasons. And Kate Princess of Wales, a title only ever bestowed upon Diana (I think) but is him mentioning it enough to confirm it do we thin? To be fair, The Crown is more than JUST the Royal Family.Oh one million percent. His mother has just died, and I am not saying he has a heart of stone. It must have been incredibly difficult to film that, and carry out any duties so soon after she passed.
I am expressing my opinion on things, and am not trying to push anyone in to my way of thinking. He, and his Mother before him have very little input in these public addresses so as lovely and heartfelt as the speech was, he didn’t write it.
I always like to think he and the Queen had some input into speeches. Even if it was just "I'd like to mention this and that".Oh one million percent. @Cloud I’m not sure exactly how much they cost as we get varying stories online from £86 million - £100 million per year. Buckingham palace is in the midst of a £369 million refurbishment over 10 years.
I think certainly in terms of our perception in the States it would have a marked effect.I don’t think they “cost” anything. The money they bring in to this country is that many times over. It’s only an opinion because it’s difficult to quantify.
Again I’m not a royalist but I’ve never judged them as heads of state. Just celebrities that the rest of the world seem to be fascinated by more than we are. I’m ok with that.

Erm...no.And Kate Princess of Wales, a title only ever bestowed upon Diana (I think)
Erm...okay I was mistakenErm...no.
Already sick of everyone’s opinions on the royal family (not moopers) to be honest.
This week reminding me why I hate social media so much
Yeah it's really highlighted the difference between those two social medias!Facebook; She woz england's nan. rip wiv the angles and paddington bare xxx
Twitter: Those commemorating the death of Queen Elizabeth II are complicit in her various war crimes and enacting micro-aggressions against the most marginalised group in society - me. Reparations can be made directly through paypal (thread. 1/76)

The specific title of "Diana, Princess of Wales" was given to Diana after the divorce, though I think that was a unique situation and it was technically a different status from a 'normal' Princess of Wales.Erm...okay I was mistaken
