Were you listening to a lot of Girls Aloud at the time?
Obviously!

Up until the age of 16 you have to study all the 'core subjects' > English, Maths, Combined sciences, History, Geography, PE etc.
From 16-18 if you stay in education you choose 3-4 subjects to specialise in and drop the others. These are your A Levels.
Then at 18+ you generally go on to university to just study one thing. Or enter the workforce/an apprenticeship.
And?My thesis subject was about whether Sweden should join the eurozone or not.

I am?I had Diddy down as English and maybe something like Sociology. Though you are very logically minded.

My utter indecisiveness led me to a French and Maths degree !I had Diddy down as English and maybe something like Sociology. Though you are very logically minded.
I knew DC is something medical so you're not a surprise.
RJN I was sure was something humanities-based.
Apoca makes sense as being down the middle.
Alex and Maths is a nice surprise.
It’s a fake A level for people who can basically read and understand a newspaper and an instruction manual. What is general studies?

Only really took English for a bit of variety, but I soon came to resent having to write essays and bunked off a fair few lessons. Still got an A thoughand a lifelong love of Jane Austen and hatred of Thomas Hardy

Took painting lessons for 3 years but it was unrelated to school.Am I the only Mooper to study ART? No wonder you’re all so ANGRY and REPRESSED!
I dropped art as soon as it was possible, maybe my life could have been different, if only I hadn’t been hopeless at it. I went to an all boys school and our art teacher was Mrs Fox who was something of a controversial figure with some parents due to her plunging necklines and micro leather mini skirts. Her classes were exceptionally popular though.Am I the only Mooper to study ART? No wonder you’re all so ANGRY and REPRESSED!

I also did Psychology for AS which I would have done at A level but we only had the option to do it at AS level. Looking back I have NO idea why I chose Biology![]()

Despite my stellar gay GCSEs in Expressive Arts and Food Technology, I ended up doing English Language, Biology, History - but I only did History because of my STUPID DAD discounting Psychology as Not A Proper Subject. USELESS.

Does he still think that two degrees later?![]()

With retrospect I regret not taking the Tudor module, which I find infinitely more interesting and would not have met Sebastian Flyte.Although I love history (FORUM NOW!) I found the A-Level pretty dull. A detailed look at the Moroccan Crisis' is no-one's idea of scintillating history.
