I'm sure this will be reductive as hell, but I must admit I'm quite enjoying the revival of all these trashy early 00s dance hits. Eagerly awaiting the Ava Max reading of Toca's Miracle.

I swear every other dance track at the moment samples a 90s dance banger at the moment. I've heard samples of Better Off Alone, Don't You Want Me and Children recently, naturally since Blue went to no.1.

Although this use of 2 Times is quite silly fun

That's not how you hold a telephone, it's nowhere close to the ear!

The “trap” beat in this is the Britney using dubstep in Hold It Against Me of 2023

fucking hideous. and worse, boring. Kim truly had it and lost it.

I mark on an exceptionally hard curve these days when a 'smack you over the head' predictable sample is involved, and this one just simply isn't necessary. Bring me the high disgusting trashy art of I'm Good (Blue) or don't bother!

I'm not even going to bother listen to this. A Nicki Minaj feature? In the year of our lord 2023?

Nicki Minaj's name alone is enough to make any song terminally SHIT

This is possibly the worst song I’ve ever heard. It falls somewhere between Ed Sheeran and Brian McFadden

This is something. Is she channeling her inner 2011 Britney in terms of giving us stiff choreo and nothing else?

she simply doesn't have any star quality on stage/in videos/doing anything popstar-adjacent. it's actually quite impressive how little she gives.

Spotify is autoplaying this after everything, presumably because it's flopping. i hate it! that hook straight up sucks.

You just know this will be one of those songs that becomes a hit because the industry demands it. It’ll be everywhere by June.

I actually don't think so. autoplay deals haven't been turning songs into hits. the only instance I can think of that kinda worked is Trustfall by P!nk and that's a great song that just needed a bit of exposure.

Are they actually doing paid for auto play suggestions? I know there was a bit of furore about it but didn’t know it had been implemented.
