My next door neighbour has put new fence panels up between our gardens. They're five feet tall. The previous ones were slatted with gaps in so I can see down the road as I reverse off the drive. The new fence means the arse-end of my car will have to be in the middle of the road before I can see whether I'm going to run a pedestrian over. Hopefully he'll realise what a bad idea it is when he tries to get off his drive and won't be able to see either until he's actually in the road. Luckily I can still see cars coming towards me on my side but he won't be able to see either side. Knob.
Before anybody says it, I can't reverse my car onto the drive due to a badly-placed telegraph pole that cuts off about eight inches of my drive on one side, the edge of my wall on the other side and a high kerb that means having to gun the engine to get enough power to get up it and, once the car gets over it, it hurtles backwards towards the front door.
