Love them ALL WAYS, but BEST when the yolk is runny and not mixed up with the white. So fried or soft boiled. 😍 Or poached if someone else is doing it, cos I can't be arsed

A fried egg over noodles or certain pasta dishes is also a splendid thing

I went through a weird phase of putting a fried egg on top of bolognaise. It was the LIVING TITS. :disco:

I've not tried that :D :o but I do like it on more creamy/carbonara type dishes

I am a big fan of huevos rancheros.

But i think that's mostly because the salsa hides the taste of egg.
Shakshuka for me, due to the inevitable RING OF FIRE a salsa would result in.

And hold the cumin, extra paprika, thanks

I think putting a fried (or poached) egg on top of any leftovers you have in the fridge is invariably an excellent idea. It only rarely doesn't work.

It’s the same theory as “everything is better in a sandwich”. Invariably true.

Big fan of eggs but not so much yolk if it's hard. Egg mayo are my second-favourite sandwich, egg mayo with prawns is favourite. I like my boiled eggs snotty, fried eggs have to be dippy so I can burst the yolk and smear it over something else or I just mix them up first and fry it like that. Love scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and baby plum tomatoes, love mushroom omelette.

The only place I don't like fried egg is when the chinese puts one on top of special curry, that's just wrong and it goes straight in the bin.

I like them if they are not too, re, eggy.

As in they are fine, but I prefer them with something else (bacon, mayo etc) rather than the star of the dish. Scrambled are delicious though, but again it’s probably the dairy, spice if using, toast they are on etc that makes me prefer them.

I like to eat my fried egg yolk whole so it bursts in my mouth. BLISS.

And egg mayo sandwiches are great with big thick crisps in them to provide contrast. See also that mucky cheese and onion sandwich filling.

Just had to get my laptop out to pen my egg opus.

Eggs are life. The finest nutrition out there. I eat eggs every single day. They're packed full of protein and loads of vitamins most people are deficient in. An egg a day keeps to doctor away.

I can't even do an egg rate, but I will offer my -1 to hard boiled eggs that have been overcooked and have that weird grey tinge around the yolk.

In addition to egg on pizza, I have egg on a thai dish called Pad Kaprow. Its red chillis and thai basil, so its spicy as fuck and the creamy yolk mixing in with the sweet, salty, spicy and sour sauce is fucking SEXUAL.

If you don't like eggs, you don't like living. Don't @ me on this point or I will abuse my powers and ban you for a day.

I'm with @floppet, I only really like the yolk when it's runny. I'm not into it hard (first time I've said THAT).

At Passover, we eat boiled eggs in a sea of salt water. It's an acquired taste.

I'll eat hard boiled egg, but there's little pleasure in it unless you put a lot of other work and flavour into it.

I love it when they're boiled and the yolk comes out semi-liquid 🤤

I cannot do egg mayo or egg salad (boiled eggs WITH a salad is different). That’s where I draw the line. It stinks.

Egg, potato, and celery salad is pretty amazing. But yeah, I hate when mayo is overused

Hard boiled eggs with a still runny yolk and a sprinkle of smoked maldon 🤤

How on earth did I forget PICKLED EGGS in my earlier ranking?

I even made my own this Christmas. I’ve got three left in the fridge :disco:

Though there is an amazing services on the M5 near Gloucester that has a farm shop in it and I go every year at Christmas just to buy their pickled onions (amazing) and a few other bits. They do phenomenal runny, veggie scotch eggs.
