5th album era kicking off SOON, feature spot on the next Sam Feldt track out NEXT FRIDAY

interested to know if there's still any kind of spot for her commercially after the disaster that was the 4th record. a feature seems smart if the song is good.

I like her as a person and I feel for what she's been through. But I just haven't really enjoyed any of her music lately. Sam Feldt is probably the most generic producer out there, but maybe this will be fun

Imagine being more beige and boring than R3hab, Robin Schulz and Cheat Codes, then you have Sam fecking Feldt :D :( oh Kesh

her fifth album is called GAG ORDER and is out June 30th :disco:

:disco:

she previewed a few songs on live a few months back, all sounded like a major departure for her. combined with that artwork I expect something quite MAJOR this time.

Is her head in a plastic bag on the cover? That seems quite irresponsible!

That’s a great title and cover. So the album will no doubt be crap.

82 Rainbow
81 Warrior
80 Animal
74 Cannibal
60 High Road

it's odd how her last album was her absolute shittiest to date yet it managed to bring us her most beautiful track ever: Resentment.

never been keen on the substance references, but the cover art is her best since Animal. CHOKE, queen! we WILL be streaming!

I’m glad things have gotten better for her personally but I like her but I like Animal/Cannibal/Warrior 100 times more than anything after

Is KESHA free already or is the Dr. still involved?
this is her last album on his imprint so he's still financially involved for now. but has no say over the music, subject matter or creative. and it's not like she's gonna make a ton of money for anyone anyway. poor him!

OK then

1. The Last Goodbye (i cried to this in 2013)
2. C'Mon
3. Blow
4. Timber
5. TiK ToK
6. Your Love is My Drug
7. Cannibal
8. The Harold Song
9. Thinking of You
10. We R Who We R

both incredible. she's in a very experimental bag and it sounds good on her. Eat the Acid in particular...

these two would make impeccable album tracks, but they're not lead single material at all. what are they thinking?

she's obviously not going for anything radio friendly / commercial at all, and apparently the whole album sounds like this.

I like the sound of these 2 and a whole album like that would be a treat.

Why do you think?

like Jark pointed out, it's not a commercial sound. she's seemingly going for acclaim rather than success. and apparently the whole album is produced by Rick Rubin who's responsible for The Stoke's latest album AND Lana Del Rey's RIDE! fuck the charts, this just might be Kesha's magnum opus :disco:

This is serving, I don't know what it's serving though but it's definitely serving and she can keep it tbh.

I know it's not plausible for her to get another decent-sized hit but this is the very definition of TROLLING. Eat The Acid kinda picks up the pace at the last minute but hell no, nobody is gonna touch these after one play :D I don't care if it's Salicylic or Hyaluronic, thanks.

the whole post :D no idea if Pips likes the songs OR NOT

I know she means well, you can tell from her socials that still upset although clearly in a good place nowadays, but that doesn't mean she has to fiddle around. Grimes was dropped for LESS! Kesha girl, you're pushing your luck too far.
Does she have enough goodwill to sustain her REAL ARTISTÉ era???

i beg to differ. Taylor, Miley, Beyoncé, and Nicki have proved this decade that there's a lot of potential for last decade's girlies. being a "has-been" is no longer hexed, and Gen Z is carrying a lot of that goodwill. all the girls need to do is serve instant bops, like Flowers, Cuff It, or Anti-Hero, and TiK ToK/GP will eat it up.

Kesha is also huge with the kids, Cannibal was one of the biggest TiK ToK hits during 2020-2021, and Backstabber is currently smashing too. had she decided to release something catchy and or angsty like Women or Learn To Let Go, she could have had a moment. there's no way in hell that could happen with Eat The Acid, it's far too experimental. i haven't touched it since the first listen.

I could be wrong, but Ke$ha feels like she went away from public conscience in a way that Taylor/Miley/Beyoncé/Nicki and even Katy Perry haven’t

i'm afraid you're right, which is why i was awaiting and hoping for an actual pussy-popping comeback :(

Years ago, a friend of mine and I had a game where we’d replace a word in the chorus of a hit song with ’lesbian’.

We both agreed that the funniest answer by far was Ke$ha’s Timber.

Anyway these new songs are Godawful but I just thought I’d share that.
