I don't think I've commented on this properly yet.

I'm happy Kylie is gaining some degree of traction, but that's exactly what it was designed for. It's memorable, silly, throwaway and worst of all novelty. Unlike the best Kylie songs I don't see me listening to this in a year. Of course I'm yet to have a moment to it and maybe it will hit, but it leaves me rather cold.

But if Kylie wants a hit, who am I to stop her? *streams*

Yep that’s huge. All playlists help, but this is the only one that can actually properly push hits given it has about 3 million users, most of whom will be UK based.

Eg. Zara, Pink etc were never top 200 (like had never entered the Spotify chart at all), but once they were added after going top 75 on the actual chart, simply being on such a big playlist saw them enter the top 200 the next day and get up to around #100 solely from that exposure.

By rights this should see her nicely move up Spotify (after the impact of Friday and Saturday with all new releases and highest stream days) and hopefully settle into a nice top 40 chart run, with the potential to get a higher peak should it work strongly.
