My goal is to die immediately after spending the last £/€/Independent Scottish Currency designation to my name. Being a billionaire just makes that so much harder to achieve. Think of all the eccentric purchases you'd have to make!

Not sure I even want to be a millionaire.

I'd be happy with enough money to live a comfortable life in my own house (nothing fancy - enough room for a couple of guests and a VR room) with a reasonable car (certainly NOT a Tesla or anything wanky like that, maybe a Renault 5 EV or something) and be able to afford to go out, go on reasonable holidays etc, without having to work or worry about retirement.

Maybe to do that would mean a million or so, without digging out a calculator, but I certainly never want to be a billionaire. I have no need for that much money.

I imagine if you have little else going for you it’s easier to imagine vast wealth as desirable, even though spoiler alert, it won’t fix you!
