At least they're being fairly quiet today. We're sitting here watching old Iguanavision videos so very HERE for the 2020-partyThis page does read very second lock down, with dodgy outdoor parties and positive tests.

When I tested positive in 2020, everyone around me panicked. Now I’m just annoyed that I have to isolateLet me put on my 2020 hat and GASP.

(Also soz RJN, hands face space xx)
I often feel sad I missed the 2020 Moopy online video call party.
Actually, I don’t think we ever did 1994.Quick, let's all watch Eurovision 1994 again.
Have any of y’all taken Paxlovid? My doctor prescribed it to me because he prescribes it to all adults, but the pharmacist said that if I don’t have any risk factors, it’s probably not going to do anything and that I shouldn’t take it.
Yeah I've only heard about it being prescribed to the vulnerable/elderly. I think the doctor just decided by himself that its for everyone? I think I'm not going to take it. I do feel guilty that there are probably so many people who need it, and its just sitting in my apartmentI hadn't heard of it, I just googled and it says it's only given to the most vulnerable in the UK. I think mostly we just manage with painkillers!

I don't think anyone can understand, let alone explain, how it works here, but my insurance, which I get through work covered the cost of the Paxlovid entirely, and I was charged $10 for 30 extra strength ibuprofenHow does it work over there? Do you pay for meds?
Do you pay for meds in the UK? I thought healthcare was mostly free, but the conversation about glasses a few days ago made me wonder

Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all don't pay prescription charges, do they? It's only in England we do.
Yes, but I'm referring to the constituent countries of the UK - they don't in Northern Ireland, do they?Scotland don’t, but we do in Republic of Ireland.
