There's At Least Two Inches Of Saturday

I refuse to believe it has ever been this cold before, this is a whole new level of wickedness I am ill-prepared for.

I know right. I'm wondering if I can get away with ear muffs, my ears get so cold :(

I got to my mate's place. I'm vegitating on her sofa under a blanket, which is about as much as I can muster.

The cold fog is quite sinister and just looks really unhealthy.

ARE WE JUST PUSSIES?

Next door are out in the garden again :o At least they're being fairly quiet today.

That contest was such an amazing weekend in Moopy history. It was the first one I'd entered since Kalavision had gone under.

Have any of y’all taken Paxlovid? My doctor prescribed it to me because he prescribes it to all adults, but the pharmacist said that if I don’t have any risk factors, it’s probably not going to do anything and that I shouldn’t take it.

I hadn't heard of it, I just googled and it says it's only given to the most vulnerable in the UK. I think mostly we just manage with painkillers!

Yeah I've only heard about it being prescribed to the vulnerable/elderly. I think the doctor just decided by himself that its for everyone? I think I'm not going to take it. I do feel guilty that there are probably so many people who need it, and its just sitting in my apartment

How does it work over there? Do you pay for meds?

I don't think anyone can understand, let alone explain, how it works here, but my insurance, which I get through work covered the cost of the Paxlovid entirely, and I was charged $10 for 30 extra strength ibuprofen

Do you pay for meds in the UK? I thought healthcare was mostly free, but the conversation about glasses a few days ago made me wonder

So the GP appointment is free. Some people have exemptions for medicines, like those who recieve certain financial help from the government. Otherwise you pay for a prescription, which is currently about £9

Playing the current number one and realising how old I am. It is so bad.

Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all don't pay prescription charges, do they? It's only in England we do.

Lunch with OUR V tomorrow, and then back home until Christmas when we will pile back here as Christmas is really beautiful in Scotland (PLEASE SNOW 🙏🏻)

I would @ rowan tree but I have no single clue what his Christmas name is.
