i.e. the ones you love that rarely pop up in daily life, with all the other festive regulars.

I'll start with this, though I'm sure most of us here aren't a stranger to its charms :disco:

Only recently discovered this delightful monstrosity from The Kinks in 1977

Perhaps understandable why it's not remembered alongside the Slade and Wizzard 70s hits (it's about impoverished children beating up Father Christmas, and also has quite a sinister video) but it's very catchy.

such a stunner that should really become a chart staple too

Love the contributions from @DriFinn Home for Christmas and @FetchFugly , unsurprisingly. Can't believe I'd never heard the Kinks and Flirtations tracks before wtf! Going straight onto the top end of my Christmas playlist. Thank you. <3

Besides Darlene Love's 'All Alone on Christmas' which I've harped on about multiple times, I also like the OG 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' by Vince Vance & the Valiants in terms of tracks that never get into rotation. And the new Bleachers effort! Oh, and also this wistful little gem by sb who seems to have been long left behind in the early 00s:

I will. I will...

Anyway, back to my SPROUTS. Merry Christmas all. x
