The Israel-Gaza war and wider Middle-East tensions

In other news I watched this last night. It's on Amazon Prime. It left me feeling profoundly depressed and angry, but it's definitely worth watching.

Sharing right wing grifters is not a hot look.
If anyone sees this and think I'm responding to VoR, it was Voodoo sharing a post by Oli London about Palestinians celebrating dead Israelis, to which he commented that Gazans were DEATH EATERS. The post has rightfully been deleted by the mod team.

His whole foreign policy (if we're generous enough to call it that) is nothing short of farce.

They're really not going to stop until Trump and Netanyahu get to live their beach bro Gazan fantasy, are they? And we're all too powerless, desensitised, or otherwise-preoccupied to do anything about it. Fuck this rotten world, seriously.

Absolutely mad microcosm of this whole situation. The guy was kidnapped and beaten by Settlers, and the Academy published a letter that literally said ’both sides have valid viewpoints’ :manson:

Well this was a depressing yet informative watch. The "godmother" of settlements is unspeakably evil. Arranging a trip to view the ruins in Gaza that she wants people to settle next and proudly bringing a journalist along is insane. And her final interview was chilling

This headline. Repugnant.

UN humanitarian chief tells BBC 14,000 babies could die in Gaza in next 48 hours without aid

Really? I don’t have a hard time at all believing that there are some violent, anti-Semitic arseholes amongst the pro-Palestine movement. Immediately assuming false flag when something like this happens does not strike me as a very good take.

The US has a lot of anti-Semites who do not support Palestine either.

You might say Netanyahu's accusations of antisemitism against Keir 'Hamas' Starmer have been dramatically overstated for political reasons :eyes:
