I love this album, I'd love them to have another bash at the dreamy end of their output again too.

Not sure I need all those mixes, but I'll have a sift through after I've given the album a long overdue listen.

A new All Saints album would be welcome. The last two were both brilliant.

I wonder if this means Mel was the holdout for a new All Saints album, given the Shaznay release last year?

I think there was a CHILLING of relations between various members.

Certainly on Celebrity Race Against The World last year you never got any impression she had any drive for a music career. I think she even only referred to herself as a singer in the past tense.

And was absolutely mortified when asked to sing in a restaurant in front of about 20 people. Not the same woman who'd we'd seen in an arena a mere couple of years previous. :(

I think its actually the Appletons and Shaznay who have drifted apart/disagreed again, They are holding a professional silence and stance on social media, but I have heard rumblings thats the issue - from one fan I know that does have insight. I think Shaznay had a All Saints album ready to go with what tapestried into her second solo ALBAM. I think Mel Blatt whilst feeling very unconfident at the moment on her own is fine slotting into the band again.

yes there is clearly zero relationship between Shaz and the Appletons and that's a shame given how close they'd become when All Saints were last active.

I guess if you don't feel confident on your own (and she really didn't seem it on RATW), and you're caught between strained relationships in your group, it's unlikely to motivate her to do anything.

She was making burgers recently, I’d take the one show over that tbf

That tracks, as you can hear the All Saints sounds all over it.
She more or less SAID that though didn't she? That it was an All Saints album, but All Saints weren't available so she just did it herself?

It's a shame really. It's not bad, but it's just NOT an All Saints album. Literally couldn't hum a single bar from it :(

I liked a lot from the Shaznay album, it really grew on me. I haven't listened to it since but some of the songs were on rotation a lot last year.

And yes I remarked at the time that most of them could have been on the next Saints album :(

I love the Shaznay album, there are definitely some bops on there and the melodies are great, give it another listen Tisch. The missing parts really are the ad libs and parts missing from Mel and Nat's voices though or all of them on the chorus's, you can really hear the gaps in songs for example 'Miracle' which would sound better with All Saints blended vocals, and the Appleton sounding bop 'Got to Let Go' which would benefit from a QUEEN NAT verse!
