Can we get a list of who is a TERF and who is a trans ally? (2 Viewers)

Today my nurse asked me if I was pregnant or breastfeeding - he explained that UK regulations say that they have to ask every person having any radiation treatment, to be more inclusive.

Obviously didn’t bother me in the slightest and it just completely baffles me why it would offend anyone.

I just said ‘no I’m not’ and that was the end of the matter.

WHAT? :D

This is how culture wars get fuelled. Why give gammons ammunition? This is so stupid.

Really?? I just think it’s sensible when they have no clue whether you were born with male or female genitalia…?

I just don’t see why it bothers anyone at all.

I just politely said no…

Surely they have your medical records

Tbh it’s one of about 1000 people I’ve seen in the last two years, they see hundreds of people every day and to ask one question about whether or not I’m breastfeeding or pregnant… who actually gives a fuck? I certainly don’t and it baffles me how asking a simple question can create a ‘culture war’.

*puts on nurse hat*

These are standard questions we ask now at my hospital, especially if it’s a new patient, because sometimes you just can’t assume.

Everyone gets asked about being pregnant, breastfeeding, prostate exams, etc because they are important things to be aware of with patients in a clinical setting.

I was thinking "surely they have your notes" but having spent some time in hospital recently and been asked approximately 6354784 times by different people whether I have any allergies/diabetes/previous surgeries/dialysis, I guess that's not how things work in practice...

Kate is right. The problem is the NHS doesn’t even have the most basic of cross-department IT systems and no notes are shared/ kept/ maintained properly. It’s a ridiculously easy, but sadly insanely and prohibitively expensive, resolution which a vastly underfunded organisation is not going to be able to manage.

Mr Sheena complains about it in his role daily and the amount of times I’ve experienced it is absolute madness.

And quite right too. And the idea that this would stoke a culture war just goes to show how delicate the right are. 🙄

Katharine Parkinson ‘doesn’t want to add anything to that debate’ after getting her role as Molly Weasley.

Which says everything we need to know I think

Because Cwej could be a trans man who is pregnant or breastfeeding.

It is very much for a minority- but it makes a massive difference to those it impacts and zero difference to anyone else. Imagine the state of affairs in areas like sexual health if the doctors assumed everyone was straight because that's the majority?

Unfortunately with the Supreme Court judgement, I suspect moves will be made to step away from inclusive practices like this and the only people who will suffer are those who are trans.

The Portsmouth North MP all over socials during Portsmouth Pride about “standing strong” with the LGBTQ+ community…

…and today was parading her “good friend Wes Streeting” around as she chose him to open her constituency office.

Guess it ain’t June anymore…

Can't wait for Jake A to start a campaign for people to stream something else come November because of this. Maybe she'll fund her own record "Let's Have A Single Sex Christmas" by Roisin Murphy and The Quidditch Choir.

Sorry she’s saying Widdicombe is too woke??? 😆

Yep, because Widdicombe clarified Reform policy on trans prisoners, and said that trans women who have had bottom surgery should be allowed in women's prisons as it would be safer for them.

But of course old mould brain disagrees.

Wow! I’m actually impressed with Widdicombe saying that in this current climate. It’s very rare to hear politicians say ANYTHING pro-trans people because they’re all so scared. Good on her (for once).

Maxine Peake QOL :disco: I await the shitty rebuttal from Rowling, who can't stand any woman taking a view that doesn't entirely align with her own.

Also @Moderator could one of you edit or add her to the list now Ag has gone?

Still sexy at 83 Chris Sarandon an ALLY

He would never be cast in such a role today, he acknowledges, “and rightfully so. It should be somebody who’s more authentically aligned with the character, but I’m very proud of it.” He deplores the way trans rights have become a political football in the US. “I proudly wear my Pride bracelet,” he says, holding up his wrist to the camera, “because this, to me is … it’s such a travesty.”

Tim Curry comes out as a trans ally at the end of the new Rocky Horror documentary :disco:

Only just spotted it but she's bang on. 'Trans' as a concept occupies the same space as 'woke' and 'boat people' for some people; the amount of time they spend obsessing over it is inversely proportional to the actual effect it has on their lives. They relate every tiny thing to it and find a way to pin blame on it to the point they lose all grasp of reality. If they'd venture outside of their little bubbles of paranoia they'd see the trans community just exists and, shockingly, isn't trying to erase women. They'd see that woke only exists in the minds of people who want to use slurs without being called out, and they wouldn't see 'boat people' at all as the number of them coming in is so vanishingly small as to have literally zero impact on the country.

Mind you, if they did step outside the bubble they'd be confronted with the reality that their own shit choices and shit opinions are the reason their lives fucking suck, so it's safer to stay put and invent a monster to be victimised by.

Sorry for the rant but the world in 2025 is flooded with cunts and I need to spit out the bile every now and again.

Kirstie has always been a fucking BABE. she put up with Phil's NASAL TONES for YEARS so you know she's not wicked.
