Football 25-26

for fuck's sake. great away performance at Liverpool with several injuries and it ends like that.

absolutely insane decision. I would not be surprised if Forest are in the relegation mix, especially with the likes of Sunderland, Leeds and Burnley doing okay so far. I could easily see it being Fulham, Wolves and one of Brentford or West Ham who go down, with Forest and Man United in the scrap around 15th.

Anyway, I love(d) Nuno and I'm gutted he's gone, but it seemed inevitable.

Big Ange has got an interesting record with a lot of success but also a lot of fuckery.

We all morned the sacking of Cooper and Nuno was a revelation, so I'm trying to give our dear leader the benefit of the doubt. We are never a boring club.

Respectfully, not a fucking chance we'll be in that mix.

it's not like Ange is anywhere near as good a coach as Nuno.

Nuno was amazing for us, he managed to get incredible results from a thin squad (we had zero quality depth last season) but he did it with a disruptive type of football.

Once teams worked out how to deal with is at the end of the season we dropped off.

Not saying it was right to get rid of Nuno but there wasnt much to suggest progress in the first few games, will give Ange the benefit of doubt for now, but regardless we wont go down

that was a walk in the park for Arsenal. Madueke was terrific. Forest were total crap. it'll be a long old season under Big Ange...

Palace currently beating Liverpool and as it stands are second in the Premier League.

I don't believe they've ever been this high in my lifetime.

You do know that Liverpool always score in about the 95th minute don’t you?

Every. Fucking. Time.

There’s conspiracy theories about it and everything.

18 games unbeaten, win against Liverpool, 2nd in the Premier League, coming off of an FA Cup win.

What a time to be a fan!

oh my god :disco: and for a former Gunner to get the winning goal? it's too delicious!!!

Palace, Sunderland and Bournemouth all currently in the top four :disco:

Well we do live in an upside down world at the moment, may as well apply to footie!

Of course, Everton STILL struggling :D some things need to remain constant…

COME ON YOU GUNNERS :disco: :disco: :disco:

loving these late late shows (except when it's Liverpool). I thought we'd have to settle for a point when Merino scored, but we were so dominant almost throughout that match I'm so happy we could snatch the win. thoroughly deserved. title race ON! (but who will it be? Arsenal or Crystal Palace? :disco:)

I'm growing my hair out til Ange and Forest get a win

I'm growing mine until he gets sacked (Monday)
I think he'll be given another 2 or 3 league games at least. it wouldn't really be fair to fire him now, implementing a different style of play does take time. maybe at the next international break though...
